The Ashanti Regional Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP),Francis Adomako has cautioned Ghanaian electorates not to allow themselves to be deceived by NDC to vote for them in the forthcoming 2024 general elections.
According to him,the newly elected NDC National Executives and the leader of the Party,Ex-president John Mahama had demonstrated against that they were totally confused .
Francis Adomako who is popularly known in the political space as Francois was commenting on the misunderstanding within NDC as a result of changes in Minority caucus leadership.
According to him,Hon.Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed,NDC MP for Tamale Central is on record to have stated on Ekosiisen program on Asempa fm that the timing was completely wrong.
The MP asked “what is the basis of changing our parliamentary leadership?
They are only taking away the most experienced leaders and bringing the less experienced ones.Nobody told them we are dissatisfied with the leadership.
Who told them we are unhappy with their performance?
Francois said the reaction by the MP as well as protests by NDC supporters of Tamale South at the Party’s headquarters and the constituency office shows clearly that NDC was not ready for political power any time soon.
He said NDC Leadership was confused hence shouldn’t be given a whole country to manage again because they have nothing new to offer Ghanaians.
Ashanti NPP Organizer said “as we speak ex- president Mahama and the NDC has not come with any strategic plan or alternatives and options they would consider in an unlikely event they win power in 2024.
Rather all their attention is the leadership in Parliament
A party who is only noted for unleashing violence as stated by ex-president Mahama shouldn’t be given power again!
Francois added that “as we speak now NDC has not given Ghanaians any strategic plan to move the country forward but all that they want is power.hmm Ghanaians the alternative is scary”.
Meanwhile, the National Chairman of NDC, Johnson Aseidu Nketia has justified the party’s decision saying that their decision was a strategic source: tntnewspapergh.com
