As part of preparation for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, the Ghana coach for the Para Athletics team has made a passionate appeal to the Ministry of Youth & Sports, corporate institutions and individuals to support the team with funds and items for training at the Bara Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

The coach for the team, Emmanuel Sowah, made the passionate appeal via “The New Trust” newspaper on Monday, 2026.

“Please, we need financial support and items to support preparation for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow training at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

We are calling on the government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, corporate institutions, and individuals to come to our aid so as to ensure adequate preparation for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.”All donations and support can be made through the Momo account number: 0541888833 with a registered name: Zinabu Issah.
