The leading telecommunication network provider in Ghana, MTN has held a day’s intensive training for the members of Ahodwo zonal branch of the Ghana National Dressmakers& Tailors Association(GNDTA) as part of the Company’s annual celebration dubbed “21 days of Y’ello Care Campaign”.

The training workshop held on Tuesday,13th June,2023 at Lovers Inn near the Oasis of Love Church near Atinga junction, Kumasi recorded over One Hundred and Fifty(150) participants.

The participants were taken through topics such “Social Media marketing for Micro Businesses”, Financial Management, Time Management, Customer Care as well as Book Keeping” by the staff of the MTN in the Northern Business Sector.
This year’s campaign focuses on empowering entrepreneurs to unlock growth and job creation for communities.
Mr.John Ahyiah, of the Facilitators who took participants through financial management advised them to desist from using their monies on social events and clothes but rather they should save for future investment.

He also advised them to always seek clear understanding before going for any bank loans to avoid unbearable interest payment which has potency of collapsing their businesses.
“You should always have separate accounts for your businesses and personal accounts so as to track the growth or expansion of your businesses or otherwise. You should also have a plan to grow or expand your businesses and evaluate the plan from time to time”,he added.
Speaking to the media about the training workshop, Mr.Simon Amoh,Snr Manager Commercial Manager in charge of Northern Business Sector said the training forms part of MTN’s commitment in training the entrepreneurs with the digital ways of improving upon their businesses and also to enable them attract more customers through the digital space.

He was excited about the well attended of the training workshop by the members of Ghana National Dressmakers &Tailors Association, Ahodwo Zone and their desire to learn more.
He advised the participants to put to good use the knowledge they acquired during the training to enable them expand their businesses devoid of bad perception about their operations, bad customer care and mismanagement of their finances .
Mr.Nicolas Amissah, the Ahodwo Zonal chairman of the Association commended the staff of MTN, especially the Various facilitators for the knowledge impacted to them to improve upon their customer relations, financial management,time management, social media marketing for micro businesses among others.
