Global InfoAnalytics’ latest survey reveals mixed reactions to the recent reduction in the cocoa producer price by the government, with cocoa farmers more supportive than the public

Voters in Ahafo, Ashanti, Bono, Greater Accra, Northern, and Western North regions view the prices as unfair, with Western North recording the highest dissatisfaction at 62%.Political affiliation also shapes opinions. Among New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters, 53% say the price is unfair, compared with only 14% of National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters.Floating voters are split, with 29% finding it unfair.
