Information reaching this portal indicates that there is serious lobbying for the Ashanti regional communications Director for the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP),Mr.Dennis Kwaku to contest the forthcoming Party’s parliamentary primaries in the Asante MAMPONG.

If the lobbyists succeed in convincing Mr.Kwakwa who doubles as the former Ashanti regional Youth organizer for the party and NABco coordinator will battle it out with the incumbent MP,hon.Kwaku Ampratwum Sarpong who is also the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs,One Ben Atta who lost in the last primaries to Hon.Ampratwum among others.
As at now MAMPONG NPP is yet to elect it Constituency officers due to legal dispute as a result of internal wranglings.
