The British Council office in Accra will on 31st January host this year’s edition of the Alumni UK Ghana Networking Reception.
Alumni UK is the new global network of people from around the world who have studied in the UK as overseas students and have returned to their respective home countries to contribute to its socio-economic development.
The network provides the members with an opportunity to grow their worldwide professional connections and a platform for sharing and continuous learning. Alumni can sign on to the platform and exclusively access the opportunities and resources available.
Targeted audience
The target audience are recent graduates, mid-career professionals, leaders or VIP UK Alumni based in/with descent from Ghana. (tbc) www.britishcouncil.org
Objectives of the Event
The Accra reception is to help increase registrations from Ghana on the Alumni UK platform https://alumniuk.britishcouncil.org/, to improve participation and engagement from Ghana during the Alumni Live series taking place later in February 2025-

Objectives of the Alumni UK – Ghana are to promote the Global Alumni Programme among Ghanaians, reignite Ghana alumni’s connection with the UK, encourage Ghana alumni to make the most of this international community of individuals with an affiliation to the UK, celebrate the diversity and successes of the UK’s international alumni community and to support Ghana alumni in building their networks and careers Alumni.
This networking event is part of British Council Ghana’s effort to engage with UK Alumni who are among the most employable graduates in the world.
