Ahafo Ano South West NPP PC Hopeful pushes for improvement of poor roads
The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary hopeful for Ahafo Ano South West in the Ashanti region,Madam Adwoa Adutwumwaa Boadi has added her voice to the calls for the government to give an urgent attention to the poor road network in the area.
According to her, the nature of roads in the Ahafo Ano South West,a predominately farming district is nothing to write home about.”All our roads are in very bad or deplorable state and I’m humbly pleading with the government to come to our aid as soon as practicable to fix the roads for us”.

Obaa Adwoaa Boadi as she is affectionately called by her admirers in the constituency made the call in an interview with Journalists on the sidelines of Dr.Bawumia’s recent campaign tour to the area ahead of NPP Flagbearership slot.
The Ahafo Ano South West MP hopeful is an Accountant by profession and National Women’s Organizer for Friends of Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia(FOB).She lamented that because of the poor nature of their roads,some residents recently demonstrated against the incumbent Member of Parliament(MP) for the area,Hon.Johnson Kwaku Adu.

On what she intends to do should she become considered as NPP Parliamentary candidate and subsequently MP for the area,Obaa Adwoa Boadi said “my strategy is to push or lobby assiduously to ensure improvement of our bad roads. I will also help fight against teenage pregnancy by focusing on increasing girl-child education in the area”.
According to her, many school drops out would be empowered with the necessary vocational training to become responsible citizens to enable them also contribute their quota to the development of Ahafo Ano south west constituency or district and the nation as a whole.Adding that measures would also be taken to help improve education standard in the area.
