A leading Member of the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) in the Ahafo Ano South West constituency in the Ashanti region(name withheld) for reasonable reasons has justified why Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah is the Party’s best bet to retain the seat come 2024 general elections with less difficulties.

The full article is published below;”Many people have expressed interest in leading our dear constituents as their Member of Parliament and that is what is expected of every constituency as far as democracy is concerned.

Amongst the lot, one that has distinguished himself from the others is Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah.

From a very humble beginning, he has gone through all facets of life and its experiences despite his youthful personality. Undoubtedly, there’s none amongst them who has empathy for humanity more than Dapaah and that is portrayed in his consistent philanthropy and generosity.

Considering his background, he could have kept everything he has to himself but Dapaah is someone who knows how it feels to have nothing.

It’s sad that instead of certain people acknowledging his efforts to restore hope in the constituents, they have rather chosen to describe him with all manner of adjectives including arrogant, proud and so on but that didn’t change his good heart for the people.

I believe that, his humble nature will position him in a manner that everyone can get closer to him because he doesn’t consider others who have lesser educational background as nothing but believes so much in everyone’s abilities. This is what makes him completely outstanding.

Even though he doesn’t hold the highest educational qualification yet he’s impacted people through his good heart and links more than anyone. This tells you that it’s not about qualification but rather the ability to lobby and the heart to serve.

Let us not be deceived to think that it’s one’s qualification that makes him serve better in parliament but his preparedness to serve and the very heart with which one is to serve. In parliament of Ghana today, those are doing exceedingly well are not those that hold the most educational certificates.
