AHEAD OF 2024 POLLS:Let’s Unite Beyond Suame- Majority Leader Charges Assembly Members ,NPP  Executives.

The Majority Leader/Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, and the MP for Suame, Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has charged his Constituency Executives, the Polling Station Coordinators, and the Assembly Members, to rise above any parochial interest to ensure that the NPP emerges stronger after the Presidential/Parliamentary Primaries, and go ahead to win the 2024 Presidential/Parliamentary Elections.

He said the New Patriotic Party’s desire to ‘Break The 8’ would be mere sloganeering if the Party in Suame, the Ashanti Region and the entire Ghana, fails to unite for this common purpose.

He provided his captains with the current NPP Administration’s compelling records in the areas of road infrastructure, industrialization, agriculture, education, energy, digitization, security, amongst others, to prove to them that whoever says the NPP has no message, going into the 2024 elections, is rather lost in the woods.

He, therefore, called on them to burry any self-seeking spirit and work in unison to achieve the bigger objective of breaking the 8.

Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu also used the occasion to re-echo his resolve to exit the Legislative Assembly at the end of his current tenure.

He admitted that there is enormous pressure from several high profile personalities to reconsider his decision, but affirmed that he believes he can serve Suame, the Ashanti Region, and mother Ghana, in different capacities when the opportunity avails itself.

The Majority Leader made the call when, in the company of his Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Maxwell Ofosu Boakye, interacted with Constituency Executives of NPP in Suame, the Electoral Area Coordinators, and the Assembly Members, over a Dinner during the 2023 Easter Festivities.

He assured them that Suame is a big family, and urged every individual present to work with clear conscience devoid of rancour.

He concluded by asking for devine forgiveness from any one of them he might have, unknowingly, wronged along the line of service so far. In the same vein, he assured them that he has unreservedly forgiven whoever might have wronged him during the period.
