ALL HANDS SHOULD BE ON DECK FOR DEVELOPMENT OF DUNKWA -OFFIN-Okofroburo Obeng Nuakoh III urges

 

The Chief of Dunkwa- Offin in the Central Religion, Okofroburo Obeng Nuakoh III and his people on Sunday Celebrated last Akwasede of the year 2022
The festival which had the theme “Developing Dunkwa Through Attitudinal Change ” attracted people from all walk of life including Chiefs Muslims, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE ) among others stakeholders in the area.

 

 

Speaking at the function, Okofroburo obeng Nuakoh called on the people to look back to where they came from and do things excellently since the whites came and deceived men with their customers.
He explained that, it is very important for the government to do it’s best and sponsor some of their Engineering students to go to Romanian and learn how to do manage bauxite ,Manganese and gold etc than to send it to Romanian and other countries to do it for the Ghana.
The Chief used the Occasion to complain bitterly about the accumulated refuse all over Dunkwa town because there is no refuse truck in Dunkwa to clear filth.
According to him, there are so many roads in his area that have been abandoned by the contractors without any reason
He however, thanked the government for tarring the Abeswa roads which has never seen a tarred road before.
The Chief who was not happy about shoddy works of road constructed noted that,if a road is properly constructed it should be able to last more than ten years and the money used to repair it can be used for other roads
He appealed to the government to kindly complete the Dunkwa stadium to produce footballs & athletics as well as the Astro Turf project.
