ALL NATIONS CHARITY HOME IN DIRE NEED OF SUPPORT-CEO cries out

The Chief Executive Officer of All Nations Charity Home at Ayigya in the Oforikrom municipality of Ashanti, Rev. Philip Nyamekye, has hinted that despite economic challenges confronting the center,

he still pursues aims and objectives for the establishment of the center. He said the aims and objectives for setting up the center was to train orphans in both formal and informal sectors in order for them not to become the burden to the state.

Rev. Nyamekye in an interview said, because the center is purely private, he most at times faces financial difficulties. He said currently the center has 93 orphans comprising males and females.

He explained that, out of this number six of them are currently in University, three have also completed University, two have completed Colleges of Education while one has also completed School of Aviation.

He said, the center which was established nineteen years ago is being taken care of him. He was grateful to Ayigya Kurowura, Nana Akosua Serwaa Ohene Afere wo for her great assistance to the center.

According to him, Nana Akosua Serwaa has been footing all the education bills of the children. “This center would have been collapsed by now if not the assistance we have been receiving from her “. She added.

Rev. Nyamekye urged the government through the Social Welfare to extend helping hands to private orphanage homes since they also train these vulnerable children to fix into the society in order not to become vagabonds in future. He urged all Ghanaians to be hard working and dedicated with the positive mindset in 2023 in order to see progress.

He admitted that though, things are hard but they must remember that God would surely see them through in the years ahead only if they serve Him honestly and diligently.
