The Ashanti Regional Minister,Dr.Frank Amoakohene,has made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians to come to the aide Charlotte Ankomah to enable her undergo a surgical operation.
The little Charlotte Ankomah,is in dire need of financial support to undergo avascular necrosis surgery.
Dr.Amoakohene,who doubles as the Patron for Frankcare Foundation,made the appeal on Thursday,17th April,2025,when he (Minister) donated an amount of One thousand dollars ($ 1000) as an initial fund to Charlotte Ankomah’s planned surgery.

The donation was made at the forecourt of Kumasi Central prisons during the free health screening and blood donation exercise, which forms part of the ongoing Ashantifest programme under the auspices of the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (RCC).
The Minister,explained that, donation is intended to support Charlotte’s surgery for Avascular necrosis of the left femoral head with secondary osteoarthritis.
According to him,avascular necrosis,is a serious medical condition characterized by the death of bone tissue due to a lack of blood supply.
“In Charlotte’s case, the condition affects the left femoral head, leading to secondary osteoarthritis.This condition can cause significant pain and mobility issues, impacting daily life”,he added
Stressing that,a timely medical intervention is crucial in managing avascular necrosis and Surgery is often necessary to alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life”,he noted
It is therefore,the reason why he humbly appeal to individuals, corporate institutions and Churches to come to the aide of Charlotte Ankomah in order to save her life
