According to the former NDC crowd puller, their decision to join the ruling party started in 2017 when the government, true to its campaign promise, introduced the Free Senior High School policy and other pro-poor policies.

He said despite his children and family members enjoying the policy, they were not convinced until recently when it became obvious that, indeed, the NPP government is for the poor.

And, to show their total commitment to their newly found party, they indicated their readiness to vigorously campaign to elect Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to progress the good policies of the NPP government.

The unveiling of Alhaji Muntari Alhassan and the other executives took place at the Ntonso Zongo when the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Chairman Wontumi, took his grassroot campaign to the Kwabre East Constituency on Friday.
