This is the first time in our political history as Country, a prospective candidate for Presidential race is a Practical Industrialist who has for over 30 years worked and nurtured his portfolio to Industrialise Ghana.
His clear vision to Industrialise Ghana started elsewhere President Agyakum Kuffour’s government when he became the Trade Minister, and under Presidential Special Initiative (PSI) and African growth Opportunity Act, AGOA which gave this country a huge investment portfolios from US Ghana bilateral relations. The horse.. 🐎 will not rest until victory for Ghana is won.
Chief Alan Kyerematen’s vision has come of age, now that he has been able to integrate Trade markets between; Ghana and Africa, through AFCFTA. Ghana and USA, through African growth and opportunity Act, AGOA. Ghana and Europe through European Partnership Agreements, EPAs.
Chief Alan is a global icon in Trade and Investments across the world. We believe this is the right time for such personality to lead Npp and for that matter Ghana.
Ghana needs a Nation builder as a leader, not a political leader.
ALAN has committedly, consistently and progressively pursued this concept of industrialization as a liberator for over 30 years now, both in government and in opposition. His records as a Trade and Industries Minister has proved his worth as a Nation builder not just a political personality.
The names are a lot but he stands out as leader with enviable personality , a leader who has the ‘Can Do Spirit’ to position Ghana’s through his 10 points industrialization policy guidelines on a positive footing. The Great Transformation Plan (GTP)
Some men are born to do Exploit, Some men are meant to bring positive Change.
Alan has made his vision a reality in the lives of the Ghanaian youth.
The 1D1F which according to the Finance Minister’s Mid-Year Budget Review has employed over 16000 youth Enabled Youth Initiative is a practical steps to resource the Ghanaian youth and build their confidence to become well to do Industrialists in a more sustainable way.
The Initiative intends to train and equip the youth with already established 58 industries at some selected Districts and Municipalities across Ghana.

In his over 30 years of service to New Patriotic Party and Mother Ghana, his focus and good works has been on Industrialization.
And he has built the fundamentals for greater take off. There is no other politician in Ghana now ,who has worked vigorously on this industrialization concept which has become evidential to project Ghana among the Economy of Nations in the years to come.
Lets build an industrialised Communities with ALAN GTP.
Quit apart from that Chief, as a business oriented being has proper measures in place to be taken off the party members at the local level so they would not become burden after elections.
As delegates, we have Precedence.
Npp delegates in 1996 gave us the best serving leader as fragbearer.
Npp delegates in 1998 did same, likewise Npp delegates in 2008, continued in giving us the best serving personality as the fragbearer.
There is no doubt Npp delegates will disappoint in this crucial moments where Ghana needs a leader who has indepth knowledge in industrialization to expand the Ghanaian economy.
Npp delegates at the national service has always represented the ordinary Ghanaian on the street.
Ghana needs economic freedom and the solutions we all know is our ability to build industries to add value to our raw materials for better foreign exchange and proper investments into Ghana.
WINwith ALAN is a great opportunity for all Ghanaians

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) is set to roll out the Cylinder Recirculation Model (CRM) Programme in September this year.
Under the CRM, residents of Accra and other selected parts of the country do not have to own a cylinder to use Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for the domestic and commercial activities.
Filled LPG cylinders will be kept at exchange points for customers to pay for the content and pick up the filled cylinders after registering with their National Identity Card.
The implementation of the CRM will be championed by the NPA
and its partners under the supervision of the Ministry of Energy.
Briefing the media on the planned implementation of the CRM in Accra on Thursday, a Deputy Chief Executive of NPA, Mr. Perry Okudzeto, said the programme would be rolle out in September in Accra and Kumasi and would gradually spread across the country.
He said the CRM would run side by side with the current distribution model until is phased out.
Mr. Okudzeto said a 50-member committee was working on the CRM.
He indicated that the LPG Marketing Companies had representation on the committee and their inputs had been factored into the framework.
“All industry players have been engaged, their ideas hav been taken on board and the framework has been designed with their input and are ready to offer their support to ensure the success of the project,” he stressed.
Mr. Okudzeto said
the implementation of the CRM is to ensure that at least 50% of Ghanaians have access to safe, clean and environmentally friendly LPG by 2030.
Perry Okudzeto
It is also meant to improve access to LPG, improve safety in the distribution of LPG and to increase adoption of LPG.
Additionally, it is a policy shift to stop the unnecessary loss of lives and properties as well as gas filling stations, mostly due to human error.
Mr. Okudzeto explained that per the CRM policy, cylinders procured from manufacturing companies would be sent to Bottling Plants to be filled.
The filled cylinders will be transported in bulk to exchange depots for holding and sorting before transporting them in quantities to cylinder exchange points where consumers can register and pay for any quantity for domestic and commercial consumption.
Specialised trucks will be used to transport the filled cylinders from the bottling plants to the retail stations or exchange points, where consumers will exchange their empty cylinders for filled ones.
Mr. Okudzeto said the registration with the Ghana card at the exchange points was necessary to have data on consumers for traceability.
He said the programme had been well piloted, the system streamlined and the infrastructure put in place to ensure the safe delivery and use of LPG across the operational areas.
“The NPA commissioned a pilot programme with the existing infrastructure. The pilot programme was done in the Eastern Region around the Kwaebibem area, in Ashanti Region in Obuasi zone and then in the Northern Region in the Yendi zone. The programme taught us quite a number of lessons and that has gone into shaping the framework for the implementation of the new policy,” he said.
Mr. Okudzeto said four CRM Bottling facilities – GOIL Bottling Plant in Tema and Kumasi as well the Blue Ocean and Newgas facilities were ready to take off.
APPEB Cylinder Manufacturing Company in Awutu Senya, SIGMA Cylinder Manufacturing Company in Accra and the Ghana Cylinder Manufacturing Company at Spintex, which will be producing the cylinders to be distributed nationwide, are also ready for the roll out.
“So far, since 2017, the first step has been to construct bottling plants that will be the main pivot around which the policy will operate since under the new policy, cylinders are going to be filled with LPG and sent to exchange points for distribution,” Mr Okudjeto stressed.

She lauded the doctors’ professionalism, dedication, and the invaluable services they provided during this critical time.
She expressed her gratitude at the ‘Akwaaba Night’ held at the Columbus Africentric Early College High School in Columbus, Ohio, as a keynote speaker for the inaugural Ghana Festival Ohio 2023, sponsored by Adonko Beverages.

She is a leader and advocate for the issues impacting Black Americans, including voting rights reform, police brutality, financial inequality, diversity and inclusion, healthcare access, and gun violence prevention. Ghana has a special place in her heart.
The Ohio Ghana Festival is a 5-Day festival event focusing on showcasing the rich Ghanaian culture and heritage to the residents of Ohio and the world. This year’s event is under the theme ‘Our culture, our heritage, our tradition, the Columbus way’.

4th August has been declared as a statutory public holiday in Ghana by H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo and we have been observing this since its introduction in 2019.
It is a good initiative to honour all persons who helped Ghana to attained political independence from the British. However, it is highly inappropriate to use 4th August as a day to honour our heroes and heroines.
4th August 1947 is deemed to be the day UGCC was founded, and such a day can NEVER be the day Ghana was formed. The 4th August could be best celebrated as the “UGCC DAY” not Founders’ Day.
Is the Foundership of Ghana only limited to the members of the *Big Six” or members of UGCC? Absolutely NOT. Then why is the Government always using the portrait of the “Big Six” to celebrate Founders’ Day?
This is absolutely inappropriate and a clear distortion of the already established history of Ghana.
If indeed we want to acknowledge everyone as the Founder of Ghana then we must as well agree on the appropriate DAY of the year which will be best fit for that purpose and not August 4th.
Some people will also argue that, the “28th February 1948 Accra Riots” should be used for the purpose of celebrating Founders of the Country since according to established records, it was the protest march by the unarmed ex-servicemen on the 28th February which actually “mark the key point in the process of the Gold Coast becoming the first African colony to achieve independence, and subsequently becoming Ghana on 6th March 1957” .
Though I don’t share the same ideology with Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, it is extremely difficult to use just 8years of Akufo-Addo’s Government to rewrite history and co-share the Founder Status of Ghana with Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Globally, Kwame Nkrumah is still widely regarded as the Founder of modern day Ghana largely due to his outstanding contributions to the Independence struggle of Gold Coast and his ability to convince other colonies of the British to join Gold Coast to form present day Ghana.
Before independence, the following colonies were existing separately:
Ashanti Kingdom, which had their independence from the British in 1935 and became a self-rule State.
Gold Coast Colony of the British comprising the Western, Central, Eastern and Greater Accra. And this is where the UGCC was formed on the 4th of August.
Then, why must 4th August represent present day Ghana as the Founders’ Day?
I think that, this is a historical misinformation, disinformation and distortions of facts.
British Togoland (commonly referred to as Trans-Volta Togoland).
Northern Territories of the Gold Coast, which was a British Protectorate from 1901 until 6th March 1957.
Through the efforts of Kwame Nkrumah, Ashanti Kingdom, Chiefs and Political leaders, present day Ghana was successfully formed by the union of Gold Coast Colony, Ashanti Kingdom, Northern Territories of Gold Coast and British Togoland.
All the aforementioned leaders played a significant role towards the formation of Ghana, however, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s contributions stand tall and therefore it is perhaps appropriate to acknowledge him as the Founder of present day Ghana even though we don’t agree with him in the areas of governance and ideology.
I would have wish that, President Akufo-Addo would have a second look at the 4th August date since history doesn’t support it as the Founders’ Day for Ghana, and a future Government might take the necessary steps to scrap it.
We can use 28th February or 6th March to celebrate the “Founders’ Day” if majority of Ghanaians do not subscribe to the usage of Kwame Nkrumah’s birthday as the “Founder’s Day”.
We the people in NPP can continue to celebrate the likes of George Alfred Grant, Baffour Osei Akoto, Dr. J. B. Danquah, Dr. Abrefa Busia and several others who contributed to the independence struggle of Ghana without necessarily fighting over Founders’ Day or Founder’s Day.
Per historical facts, the main Pillars of NPP Tradition are:
George Alfred Grant chiefly regarded as the godfather of Gold Coast Politics. He was the Founder, Chief Financier and First President of the United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC). George Alfred Grant was the one who paid for the return of Kwame Nkrumah to Gold Coast.
Baffour Osei Akoto, the Founder of National Liberation Movement and one of the father figures of UP Tradition, the true and correct tradition of the present day New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The “Danquah -Busia-Dombo Tradition” or Danquah-Dombo-Busia Tradition” is just a latter day creation by some people within NPP through Danquah-Busia Memorial Club and that cannot be widely accepted as the true definition of the tradition of NPP.
As far as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is concerned, Danquah, Busia and Dombo cannot supersede George Alfred Grant and Baffour Osei Akoto but how often do NPP as a collective Party celebrate George Alfred Grant and Baffour Osei Akoto?
How many NPP members have even taken time to study the history of their own Party? Most of the Party’s Executives and foot soldiers are just doing “follow back” without questioning and interrogating the facts.
All pre and post independence leaders deserved to be celebrated but 4th August is not appropriate for such celebration.
As a Nation through bi-partisan consensus we all can agreed on a specific appreciate day for celebrating all those who significantly contributed to the independence struggle of Ghana.
They all fought as a Team but even with a team there is always a leader who lead the team and that is why it is difficult to undermine the Founder’s Status of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah regardless of the fact that others also helped in the independence struggle of Ghana.
A statutory public holiday which divide the Country along political interest is not worth celebrating.
After conducting an audit, the campaign team for New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen claims to have found irregularities in the proposed album for the party’s upcoming super delegates’ convention (SDC).
In a letter dated August 2, 2023, written to the head of the presidential elections committee and signed by Nana Ohene-Ntow, director of elections planning and management, they express their worries.
“I write for and on behalf of the Alan for President (A4P) Campaign. Aspirants were advised to review the Register for the Special Delegates Conference (SDC) and to return their comments within one week of receipt of the Register.
“After an audit and review of the guidelines for the SDC. please find the comments of the A4P Campaign as follows;
The existence in the Register used for the most recent internal elections was the basis for the audit. No changes to the Register are to be made until the upcoming round of internal Party elections, per the General Secretary’s order, the letter stated.
The A4P went on to list specific issues they have with the super delegates conference album in its letter.
