The attention of the Bawumia Campaign Team has been drawn to a post by one David Humdeyin, a journalist in Nigeria, that the Bawumia Campaign is being funded by some Islamic group in Nigeria called the ACF.
We notice that the same narrative has been copied by some persons and groups in Ghana on social media.
This narrative is obviously false, fabricated, and only serves the propaganda purposes of its promoters.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Bawumia Campaign has no funding or any linkage with any Islamic group in Nigeria or anywhere else.
Dr.Bawumia
We also note that the said David Humdeyin has demonstrated a penchant for making similar claims against some persons and groups in Nigeria without any basis whatsoever
The Bawumia Campaign is focused and will not be distracted by such vain untruths.
The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been very diligent and transparent from his days as a scholar, banker, and politician throughout his life and will not depart from these now and forever.

The 2022/2023 batch of tertiary graduates posted to serve in all spheres of the Country’s workspace is scheduled to come to an end in October 2023 for the next batch to commence.

Mr. Assibey Antwi further added that the directive is in collaboration with the National Teaching Council and other Educational and Teaching stakeholders in the country. He also mentioned that certificates are going to be awarded to the trainees.
He added that, the public sector is gradually becoming full and as per the core mandate of the Scheme, it is required to equip graduates with skills necessary for the future workspace and field adding that, it forms part of their plans to deploy a huge percentage of graduates with Science and Technology backgrounds to the private Sectors.
He explained that, the demands over the years by the private sector have been personnel who offered Science and technology-related courses in the university.
He further clarified all notions that the National Service Scheme owes the current batch of Service Personnel months of arrears. He explained that the Scheme owes only a month and not months as has been speculated.

The Director General of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NACCA), Prof. Edward Appiah, has hinted that the nation’s Education Strategic Plan (ESP 2018-2030), is gradually transforming the nation’s education.
He stated that the ESP is not only leading to the training of 21st-century skills for students but also shaping the teaching and learning sectors at all levels of education in the country.
Briefing the media in Accra, Prof. Appiah mentioned one of the areas benefitting from the ESP 2018-2030 was the massive improvement in literacy which was two per cent in 2016 but has improved to 38 per cent proficient in 2022.
National Assessment
He explained that an Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA) assessment conducted by the government in 2016 indicated that only 2 per cent of primary two pupils in the country could read and write but the National Standardized Test 2022 showed that the record had improved to 38 per cent.
This, he attributed to prudent initiatives put in place as part of the roadmap from the ESP 2018-2030 as a remedy to challenges confronting reading at the basic level of education in the country.
Prof. Appiah also mentioned that the ESP 2018-2030 led to reforms like the National Pre-tertiary Assessment Framework, National Pre-Tertiary Curriculum Framework that led to the development of the Standard Based Curriculum for Primary Schools, Common Core Curriculum for Junior High Schools and the introduction of National Standardized Test among others.
Dr.Ossi Yaw Adutwum, Education Minister
All these which are operationalized are leading to improvement in the education sector which in the long run improve the nation’s transformation.
Critical Collaboration
He was particularly happy with the collaboration between the various agencies and institutions supporting the Education Ministry to ensure that the nation’s education becomes the first port of call in the African continent.
Commendation
The Director General commended the President for his personal interest in the development of the education sector citing the huge investment being made by the government.
He also praised the Education Minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, for his effort and direction, and good leadership which has brought about a massive change in the sector and shaped the future fortunes of the nation.
Prof. Appiah appealed to players in the nation’s creative art sector to help ensure the proper transfer of moral values to the youth through their songs, movies and other literary works since such mediums help in the transmission of ideas to people easily.
Social media
He explained that the education sector keeps shaping the lives of pupils and students through schooling, that to him was not enough and called for all and sundry to contribute their quota towards the shaping of the minds of the people, especially the youth most of whom were learning many things from social media now.
The Director indicated that social media was not a bad platform but some of the things rotating there were not good towards national development and patriotism.
He appealed to the youth to desist from focusing on and making social media their source of information since there is not any good censorship on social media.

The MP for Efiduase and the leader of Dr. Bawumia’s camp, Nana Ayew Afriyie has said that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the wrong person for Kennedy Agyapong to attack when it comes to issues relating to Ghana’s return to the IMF.
The MP explained that anything concerning the IMF or the bad state of the economy should be addressed to the finance minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
He also added that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a strategist because of how he was able to bounce back from cleaning dormitories, driving cabs and doing other menial jobs to become the person he is now.
“I will say that he should direct it to the Minister of Finance and when he (Bawumia) is in charge, he will take charge and take us to the promised land. We are going to the promised land. DMB is taking us there. …He (Agyapong) should attack the finance minister not him (Bawumia),” Nana Ayew Afriyie told TV3.
“He shared his experiences. When he used to clean to go to school to pay his fees; drive taxis, cabs. So, any person can be president one day. Any person’s child, regardless of where you are in this country, there is an opportunity for you to be where you have to be,” he added.

“If NPP people don’t engage in a clean campaign, they will be in trouble because I will reply when you say something.
“For someone who claims to be a strategist, the dollar was GHC4 equivalent when we took power. Today, the dollar is GHC12. Do you think you are a strategist? Excuse me, strategist! Please,” Kennedy said.

Madam Adwoa Adutwuwaa Boadi

They have also promised to deliver One hundred percent (100%) of 502 delegates to Dr.Baaumia to enable him win the contest to lead them break the 8.
Some scenes from the meeting
The constituency chairman in his welcome address made declaration and his decision was subsequently supported by MP for the area,Hon.Johnson Kwaku Adu during Dr.Bawumia’s campaign tour in the area held at Roman Catholic church,Kunsu near Mankraso.
The constituency chairman told the delegates” I would have problem with you if any of you should make a mistake and we don’t get 100%for Dr.Bawumia”.
According to Mr.Acheanpong,Dr.Bawumia is the most competent person among the aspirants to lead the Party achieve victory in 2024 general elections.
He however, lamented that since 1996 to date, NPP always win both Parliamentary and Presidential elections in the constituency but they have never had Ministerial,CEO and Board Chairpersons’ position.
He therefore appealed to the Veep President that if he should wins the primaries and subsequently become President,he should consider people in the constituency in that direction. The constituency chairman also appealed to the Government to fast track move to fix the bad road networks in the District.

Otumfuo Ahenenanahene, Nana Kwame Mensah Bonsu, has appealed to former President John Dramani Mahama to pick his running mate from Ashanti region.
He noted that no member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) from the Ashanti region has occupied the position of President or Vice President, and, therefore, called the need to pick an Asante as his running mate.
Addressing a press conference in Kumasi few days ago, he said, it is not only about time an Asante occupies that higher position but will also enable the party to maximize votes in the region in the 2024 general elections.
Nana Kwame Mensah Bonsu,
He suggested that the flagbearer of the NDC picks the former Local Government Minister, Akwasi Oppong Fosu to enable the party to wrestle power from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr Ofosu, he said, commands respect not only in the party but also in the Ashanti region and the nation as a whole, aside from his experience and his track record.
He, however, indicated that the decision is on the bosom of the former President to pick whoever he wants but from the Ashanti region to enable the party to maximize votes.

The Chief who was unhappy with the current state of the nation’s economy noted that Ghanaians are suffering under the current government.
Nana Bonsu said the current state of Ghana’s economy cannot be attributed to the Russia-Ukraine war but to bad governance.
He noted that Ghana is not within Russia or Ukraine to experience such a situation while questioning why neighboring countries are not also experiencing the same economic situation. Source:broadcastrrgh.com
