“Ashanti Youth wants to appeal to Manhyia palace never to give Wontumi opportunity enter Manhyia palace any time NPP delegation is paying a courtesy call on the King, until he publicly tenders unqualified apology to the King and Asanteman as a whole.

 

 

 

 

Perhaps,if Chairman Wontumi wants to own his Kingdom,he should do it outside the jurisdiction of the Ashanti Kingdom.

We, are therefore, appealing to all paramount Chiefs, Divisional chiefs,and Sub-chiefs who pays allegiance to the Golden Stool  never to grant Wontumi audience in their various palaces for grossly disrespecting the Golden stool”,

The above appealed was contained in a press statement read by ,Mr.Amaning Kwarteng,the spokesperson for Ashanti Youth Association (SYA(,at a well attended press conference held at National House of Chiefs on Wednesday,17th January,2024.
