The former New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency chairman for Afigya Kwabre South in the Ashanti region, Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah,who is popularly known as COKA,has been bombarded with birthday wishes across the globe by social media users on Sunday 23rd June,2024.
Many Ghanaians,from far and near have flooded various social media platforms with his pictures, well wishes and accolades to God for the life of COKA.
The well-wishers,also offered prayers to bless the astute politician-cum businessman with good health and strength in order to be able to continue his good works to the society and mankind.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Manhyia South Constituency in the Ashanti Region, who is also the Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has donated educational materials and assorted drinks to over one thousand five hundred (1,500) schoolchildren within the Kumasi Metropolis to celebrate his belated 56th birthday.
It would be recalled that the friends of the MP, who is popularly known in the political space as Napo, made separate presentations to various schools in the constituency on Thursday, 23rd May 2024.
The Friends of Napo, drawn from the Greater Accra Region and Kumasi, joined the schoolchildren within the Manhyia South Constituency to celebrate Napo’s birthday when he was outside the country.

On Friday, 14th June 2024, Napo himself organised a party and celebrated his birthday with the schoolchildren.
He was joined by chiefs, Manhyia Constituency executives, imams, among other dignitaries, to cut the birthday cake.

He used the occasion to encourage the schoolchildren to take their studies seriously in order to achieve greater heights in all their endeavours.
The schoolchildren and their teachers prayed for Napo to achieve the greatest height in his political career and wished him long life with good health.

commended the MP for his love for the schoolchildren.
He advised the children to study hard so that they can become like Napo.
“Let’s help the children, especially in numeracy and literacy,” he stressed.
“We’re most grateful for your kind gesture and may the good Lord bless you for your good intentions, and we pray for long life and good health for you,” he added.

Popular Nigerian comedienne Helen Paul has suggested that women’s salaries should be paid directly to their spouses’ bank accounts.
The comedienne made the suggestion in an Instagram post recently, soliciting the opinions of other women on the issue.

Paul broke out as a naughty comic character on popular Nigerian radio program Wetin Dey on Radio Continental 102.3FM, Lagos. She was known on the programme as “Tatafo”, a witty kid who addresses and lampoons societal issues in a satirical manner.

Actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as LilWin, was granted bail of GH¢50,000 with two sureties by the Asokore Mampong District Court after his arrest on June 3.
Officers from the Motor Traffic and Transport Department of the Manhyia Divisional Command detained him shortly after he was discharged from the hospital.
The arrest stems from an accident involving Lil Win’s vehicle that led to the death of a three-year-old boy.
The boy’s family has been pressing for justice, but police attributed the delay in Lil Win’s arrest to his health condition.
LilWin faces charges of dangerous driving and negligently causing harm. The prosecution, still investigating the case, stressed that Lil Win must remain available for further inquiries.
They cited his health condition as a reason for the delayed proceedings.
Lil Win’s lawyer, Margaret Adjei-Twum, argued for bail, stating that Lil Win, who sustained injuries including internal bleeding, needed treatment.
She assured the court that Lil Win, a well-known figure, would not evade the legal process.
Despite his incomplete recovery, the police compelled his court appearance.
Heavy police presence was noted at the court, and the case was adjourned to June 27, 2024
Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah ‘Lilwin’ says he is thankful to God for surviving a gruesome car accident on Saturday en route to the premiere of ‘A Country Called Ghana’ movie in Kumasi.
The actor made his first statement on the accident at the movie premier hours after the accident had occurred.Lilwin was seen with a white bandage covering his forehead where he had gotten hurt.
Addressing the crowd, he noted that he had been advised to stay indoors.However, he could not ignore the efforts of the individuals including local chiefs who made it to the event and thus made his way to the event when he felt better.

Lilwin stated that it was only because of the grace of God that he survived the crash.He also expressed gratitude to everyone who supported him.
Lilwin and others sustained injuries in a head-on car crash hours before the premiere of his movie ‘A Country Called Ghana’.
The accident occurred on Saturday morning at Amakom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti region.
According to eyewitnesses, the actor was driving at top speed from the Amakom intersection to the WAEC area when he suddenly veered into the adjacent lane.
Eyewitnesses told JoyNews that the vehicle crashed head-on into a private family car carrying a father and his four-year-old child, leaving the child unresponsive from severe head injuries.

Kumawood actor and comedian, Kwadwo Nkansah, alias LilWin, made his first public appearance hours after his gory road accident on May 25, 2024, in the Ashanti Region.
Videos quickly trended on social media showing LilWin being carried out of ‘A country called Ghana’ movie-branded car into a waiting car.
According to GhanaWeb checks, the incident happened in front of the Grace Baptist Church at Amakom in Kumasi.
LilWin, who was travelling with two others, collided head-on with another vehicle while driving his Benz.
All occupants, including LilWin, sustained injuries and were promptly rushed to the Accident and Emergency Unit of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
LilWin was also reported to have undergone surgery according to a UTV report late Saturday.
However, the actor was spotted at the Kumasi premiere of his movie, ‘A country called Ghana.’
