There was once a constituency known as *EJISU nestled in the rolling hills of the countryside, where the people thrived and everyone knew each other.
In the heart of the town was the renowned MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT who represents an old gnarled oak tree, its branches stretching up to the sky like ancient arms reaching for the heavens. This tree had been there for as long as anyone could remember, and it had become a symbol of strength and resilience for the townsfolk.
Under the shade of this majestic tree, the people in the constituency would play and laugh, the elderly would sit and reminisce, and young lovers whispered sweet nothings to each other. It was a place where people gathered to celebrate, mourn, and simply be together. The old oak had seen it all and stood as a silent witness to the ebb and flow of life in the town.
Late John Kumah
But one fateful day, 7th March 2024, a violent storm swept through EJISU unleashing its wrath upon the old oak. With fierce winds and lashing rain, the tree stood no chance, and its ancient trunk finally gave way, crashing to the ground with a mighty thud. The townspeople were devastated as if they had lost an old friend.
In the days that followed, the community came together to mourn the loss of the tree. They shared stories of their time spent under its branches, reflecting on the moments that had now become cherished memories.
As they cleared away the debris, the townspeople vowed to plant a new tree in its place, a symbol of hope and renewal for the future.
Years passed, that is,3-YEARS and 3 months and the tree grew tall and strong, casting a familiar shadow over the town square. It became a gathering place once again, where new memories were made and old ones were cherished. The old oak may have been gone, but it was not forgotten, living on in the hearts and stories of the townsfolk, a testament to the enduring spirit of the community.
And so, the legacy of ” AMANSANBOAFO”, HON. Dr. JOHN AMPONTUAH KUMAH who represents an old tree lived on, a reminder that even in loss, there is always the promise of new beginnings and the enduring power of memories.
I guess, like many of you on this blue app, you’ve seen and watched a video of a man sitting in the studios of a media house spewing some hogwash about John Mahama having married his running mate and a rather bizarre claim that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Running Mate is from the Northern Region and not Central.
The fact that media houses are giving oxygen to such ridiculous pronouncements is not my issue today because it has become established that in Ghana, just as it is in other countries, many of these mushrooming establishments are political outlets populated by persons who would otherwise not have had anything worthy to do but for the favour granted them by the owners of such outlets.
It is a realistic and scientific fact that the New Patriotic Party and Nana Akufo-Addo’s third-term candidate are aware that the people of Ghana have already decided the outcome of the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
Stan Xoese Dogbe
John Mahama will not only win the presidential election emphatically; the NDC is returning to parliament with a commanding majority, winning at least one hundred and sixty seats in the two hundred and seventy-five (six) member House.
Again, we know that the ruling party and its enthusiasts are aware that it is no longer just a matter of politics that their flag bearer’s reputation is a liar, dishonest and one whose words cannot be trusted.
That reputation, together with their poor record in government, the institutionalisation of corruption both in government and through their private sector cronies, wanton acts of tribalism, and amassing personal wealth at the detriment of badly required socio-economic infrastructure in our various communities, among other things, is the reason for the loud clamour for change and for Mahama to lead our dear nation to rebuild the damaged economy.
We also do know that the pair of Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang worsens the challenges of the ruling party as it struggles to push forward plans and narratives to tackle the electoral risks it has been confronted with, especially in the Ashanti Region, where a large number of its traditional supporters have lost confidence in them, and find in Mahama a more visionary, honest, reliable, trustworthy and a nation builder who focuses on Country and not Tribe, Family or Friends.
They think using discredited personalities, mushrooming media houses, and credulous party members to concoct stories and spread lies can help erode Mahama’s growing support base ahead of December 07, 2024.
Even the top-level decision to attack Mahama using the spurious claim of late President Mills’ death fell through, with a whole president supervising the arrangement of fake family members and chiefs into the presidency.
The irrational story of marriage, and one not from the Central Region, is the next agenda item from a meeting in which they also intend to launch another unintelligent lie: that Mahama is sponsoring an attack on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, ostensibly to annoy the good people of the Ashanti Region and reduce Mahama’s growing influence there.
How funny! Who doesn’t know the relationship between Otumfuo and Mahama, which dates back many years, when Mahamadu Bawumia was a neophyte in politics?
The fact remains that Bawumia cannot match Mahama’s popularity and acceptance in Ashanti despite the region being the stronghold of the New Patriotic Party. Not even the planned distribution of graders and other equipment to open roads and grade them in abandoned communities of Ashanti and Ahafo will bring you any good outcomes.
We are aware of your rigging plans. We will thwart all those efforts, including the ones you are hatching with the Electoral Commission, in every corner of the Ashanti, Ahafo, Eastern and Central Regions.
We also await your Accra media friends’ launch of their corruption attacks on Mahama. You should listen to your honest researchers and consultants and desist as you have been cautioned.
I have just a few words about the man leading the running mate marriage story and disgracing himself everywhere. Was he not the same person who, together with his media houses, led the ‘John Kumah poisoned’ and other stories?
Wisdom is often associated with age, as it is believed that the older a person gets, the more life experience and knowledge they acquire. Wisdom, however, does not necessarily come with age. After all, was the aged person not once upon a time, a young person?
I have always argued, based on my life experiences with people—and I dare say I have experienced quite a lot of people at my young age—that some people, no matter what happens, will never realise that there is a difference between day and night. Some people will live their entire lives without gaining any real wisdom.
Happy Weekend.

I had the honor of meeting Oguaa Manhen, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, at the Eminstimadze Palace. It offered a wonderful chance to extend greetings from the Flag bearer John Dramani Mahama.
I deeply appreciate the warm reception and acknowledgment from Omanhen Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, which demonstrates our profound respect for our cultural heritage. His encouragement was invaluable as I commence my renewed role.
Compliance matrix is now used extensively in many fields, like healthcare, shopping, banks, and colleges and universities. In these areas, using a compliance matrix will help to combine the different departments’ compliance needs on their own, which will also improve the compliance of each department.
It is crucial given that every area is reviewed at least once a year, including Accounting and Finance, Treasury, Human Resources, and Secondary Marketing. An annual meeting to go over all the necessary standards will be very helpful. Each department’s employee is responsible for reporting what changes have been made for that year.
This is how a compliance Matrix keeps companies on track with regular compliances. Making this an annually rule is meant to make sure that every department checks the compliance at least once a year. This will make sure that all departments have control over all transactions.
The integration of financial and compliance matrix is a crucial aspect of enhancing corporate reporting and compliance in various industries, such as banking, retail, higher education, and healthcare. It helps combine different departments’ compliance requirements autonomously and increase the particular department’s compliance.
A compliance matrix is a tool used to help every department understand what kind of compliance is required for each transaction, setting guidance for each employee to ensure their transactions comply with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Mortgage Bankers Financial Management.
The introduction of large-scale advanced data analysis provided by service-based systems like SAP and Oracle Corporation, and cloud-based storage and processing, has led to the replacement of traditional methods with sophisticated financial reporting systems.
For a system to be truly efficient for both financial reporting and compliance requirements, the methodology and process must be integrated. This allows a single set of data to be used, which then drives all the standard financial reporting requirements and the additional compliance requirements that may be necessary.
Like most systems, this is not without its own challenges, as transitioning from the traditional model of financial reporting to a more technology driven one can be a herculean task. For this purpose, businesses may have approached it in a very manual, labor-intensive fashion, collecting data from several different sources into a spreadsheet or some other type of application and then manually performing a lot of validation and other calculations.
The integration of the compliance matrix and financial matrix aims to create a “lean” compliance reporting methodology that adds value to the business and reduces compliance-inducing activities.
By integrating these systems, businesses can provide faster and more transparent insight to management teams, enabling them to comply as part of their everyday business activities. The benefits of integrating the financial and compliance matrix include a streamlined report process, enhanced accuracy and transparency, improved compliance monitoring, and reduced time spent compiling reports.
This leads to informed decision-making and confidence in the data produced, as well as reduced compliance risks.
It is worth the mention that the integration of the financial and compliance matrix offers numerous benefits, including a streamlined report process, enhanced accuracy and transparency, improved compliance monitoring, and reduced time spent compiling reports. By implementing the integrated financial and compliance matrix, businesses can build a sustainable positivity within the environment they aim for, ensuring better decision-making and compliance with regulatory requirements.
On the other hand, compliance monitoring is a crucial process that compares actual performance to an entity’s policies and procedures or other compliance requirements. It assesses if the entity is managing risks effectively, has a robust framework of control, operates in a compliant manner, and provides the intended outcomes. Improved compliance monitoring can be achieved through enhancements, additional measures, or changes to the relevant control environment, compliance plan, and method used to identify and manage risk, or any other control activities that lead to better results in compliance monitoring exercises.
Improved compliance monitoring requires an effective integrated financial and compliance system. Traditional methods of working with two standalone systems, the finance system and the compliance system, require manual compiling of reports and relying on current records. Implementing an effective integrated solution facilitates the exchange of information between finance and compliance functions, providing quick and instant access to relevant finance reports and transactional data. Automatic generation of compliance reports based on real-time data sets from the finance system is considered a giant leap in compliance monitoring.
Increased compliance monitoring can bring numerous benefits to a company, such as increased confidence in the compliance team, improvements made to the control environment, more accurate and timely compliance reports and returns, and a focus on the most important work for the business. The development and introduction of various measures and functions as part of the finance and compliance integration project will not only enhance compliance monitoring but also lead to significant improvement in efficiency, control, and productivity to the compliance team and related functions.
For instance, a university is reviewing its compliance monitoring activities to establish a new compliance monitoring matrix and identify opportunities for linking them. Risk-based approaches should be used to align compliance monitoring activity and provide suitable information for risk management decisions. The first task is to set out all relevant reporting requirements, including compliance objectives, the scope of the new framework, and the reporting needs of university committees, working groups, and relevant university policies.
The initial step in the implementation process is to establish a comprehensive reporting framework that sets out the standards to be applied in making decisions about what, when, and how to monitor and report on the compliance of relevant obligations. This framework should be developed in collaboration with business areas to adapt to the evolving needs of the university and provide valuable information to support decision-making.
To fully integrate financial and compliance systems, the organization’s compliance chart and its implementations need to be known in detail. A top-to-bottom approach is vital for designing a feasible and accurate integrated fiscal matrix. Effective communication is crucial for successful technology integration, as it depends on mastering successful changes to established work practices. Involving relevant personnel during the process of technology integration can create a positive morale in the workplace and help the team realize the importance of the integration process.
Stakeholders must be adequately informed and continuously engaged, and information flow across all forums and between all parties must be seamless and transparent. Workable reporting structures and channels that support cooperation and effective communication are crucial, also regular monitoring and evaluation are essential for maintaining a healthy financial state and ensuring regulatory and legislatively compliant investment practice. A proper investment compliance schedule, underpinned by a good software system, must be established to ensure the portfolio remains compliant with its mandate and any restrictions to the permitted investments.

DEBUNKING THE DISINFORMATION ABOUT THE ORIGINS OF TETTEH QUARSHIE;
In his 67th Independence Anniversary Speech at Koforidua in the Eastern Region, our President made an unfortunate statement claiming that Tetteh Quarshie, a prominent figure in the history of Ghana, hailed from Mampong in the Eastern Region rather than Osu. This assertion has sparked controversy and confusion among many citizens particularly GaDangmes.
Firstly it is essential to provide a brief background on Tetteh Quarshie and his significance in Ghanaian history. Tetteh Quarshie is widely recognized as the pioneer of cocoa farming in Ghana. He is credited with introducing cocoa beans to Ghana in the late 19th century, which led to the establishment of the cocoa industry in the country. Tetteh Quarshie’s contributions have had a lasting impact on the economy and development of Ghana.
Secondly, historical records and accounts clearly indicate that Tetteh Quarshie was born and raised in Osu, not Mampong. Osu is a prominent town in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, known for its rich cultural heritage and historical significance. It also produced Nii Kwabena Bonney also known as Boycotthene.Tetteh Quarshie’s roots in Osu are well-documented, with many sources confirming his ties to the community except that some sometimes link in the Teshie. In both scenarios however he remains of a pure Ga extraction.
Furthermore, the claim that Tetteh Quarshie hailed from Mampong lacks concrete evidence and is inconsistent with the established historical narrative.
While Mampong has its own historical significance, there is no credible information to support the assertion that Tetteh Quarshie was a native of that town.
It is crucial to correct this misinformation and set the record straight regarding the origins of Tetteh Quarshie. By spreading this inaccurate information, we risk distorting our understanding of history and undermining the legacy of individuals who have made significant contributions to our society. It is essential to rely on factual evidence and historical sources to ensure the accuracy of our narratives.
In conclusion, the claim that Tetteh Quarshie hailed from Mampong lacks historical veracity and validity. Tetteh Quarshie was born and raised in Osu, and his legacy as the pioneer of cocoa farming in Ghana remains undisputed.
As citizens, we must be vigilant in verifying information and resisting the spread of inaccurate narratives.
Let us honour the memory of Tetteh Quarshie by accurately acknowledging his contributions and celebrating his remarkable achievements.
We hope that the speech writers of the President will take steps to correct what is clearly a misinformation.

Movement for Change: A call for Strategic Alliance or United Front.
I am a Volunteer for Movement for Change, and wish to share a few thoughts of which I trust will get to appropriate quarters.
I agree to the saying that; ‘If you want to go FAST, you go alone. But, if you want to go FAR, you go with others.
I have had the privilege of listening to Chief Alan share the foundational pillars of the Movement for Change.
Indeed, they are fundamental and I cherish such thoughts. The truth of the matter is that, Ghana needs a Great Leader and not a Political Party. Yet, many people out of ignorance or mischief still want to describe the Movement for Change as a Party.
In this regard, they are quick to dig the archives to compare the fortunes of Political personalities who resigned from their Political parties to form their own, and want to predict same outcome for Mr. Alan Kyerematen and his Movement for Change.
I dare say, Movement is stronger than a party, and they may only be mistaking. However, in order that, they may not be handed their stones, I have a humble appeal. I therefore suggest two strategies for consideration: Strategic Alliance or United Front.
I would like to suggest that, Chief Alan discusses and form Strategic Alliance with those political parties accolade ‘smaller parties’. There should be meeting with their leaders to espouse his Great Transformational Plan.
Those that share similar thoughts and dreams should be brought into the Alliance. In this case, those parties will be represented only at the Parliamentary level, but offer their support to Chief Alan at the Presidential elections (if only our constitution allows).
Furthermore, one of the pillars of Movement for Change is unity government. History tells us that, United Party (UP tradition) was a combined effort of fragmented independent political parties.
Hence, since all other political parties seek to break the duopoly of NDC and NPP, there should be a rebirth of a modern era United Front orchestrated and led by Chief Alan to snatch power from both NDC and NPP. The Movement for Change is spreading wild and can go Fast. Moreover, with a United Front, it can go Far to win significantly in December, 2024.
According to Article 58(1) of 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana, “The Executive Authority of Ghana SHALL VEST in the PRESIDENT and shall be exercised in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution”. This explains why since 1992, we have experienced Rawlings Government, Kufuor’s Government, Mills Government, Mahama’s Government and now Akufo-Addo’s Government. We are yet to experience Bawumia’s Government or others.
The President is also the Head of Government in accordance with Article 57 of the Constitution. The provisions of Articles 57(1) and 58(1) gives so much AUTHORITY to the President to perform the most significant critical functions as stated under Articles 31(1), 70, 72, 74(1), 75(1), 77(1), 78(1&2), 79(1), 86(2), 144, 243(1) and 256(1 & 2) of 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana.
The President at all times or most instances are mandated to act in consultation with the Council of State or act in accordance with the advice of the Council of State. I stand to be corrected, there is no provision in the 1992 Constitution that mandate the President to act in consultation with the Vice-President or act in accordance with the advice of the Vice-President. Therefore, the President has every legal right to completely ignore the consultation and advice of the Vice-President when taking decisions for the Country.
Before I proceed it is essential to establish the difference between power and authority in politics and governance:
1.”Power is the ability or potential for an individual to influence others and control their behaviour”.
“Authority is the LEGAL and FORMAL RIGHT to give COMMANDS and MAKE DECISIONS”.
Authority supercedes Power.
The Vice-President of the Republic of Ghana only has the POWER to Influence as well as control the actions of the President. However, the President has the Final AUTHORITY to either listen to or ignore the influence and controlled-behaviour inputs by the Vice-President.
The Power of the Vice-President to influence and control the decisions of the President is very likely to fail in practice and reality. The President of the Republic of Ghana always has the Final Say.
Just like the:
1. King has Authority, and the Queen with Power. The queen can never act without the Authorization of the King.
Husband with Authority but the Wife with Power. The wife can never act without the Authorization of the Husband.
Driver with Authority but Mate, Spare Driver or Co-Driver with Power.
The Driver’s Mate and Spare Driver can never act without the Authorization of the Driver.
A Driver’s Mate is a worker who ASSISTS the Main Driver to discharge his functions.
A Spare Driver is a permanent part-time worker scheduled to work at least one shift per week and to relieve the Main Driver as required or assigned when there is a vacancy.
Vice-President under the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana can never act without the Authorization of the President.
According to Article 60(1) of the 1992 Constitution, “there shall be a Vice-President of Ghana who shall perform such functions as may be assigned to him by this Constitution or by the President”.
The emphasis here is “may be”. Take note that, it is not “SHALL”.
Previously, the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana assigned the following functions to the Vice-President:
(a). Chairman of the Police Council under Article 201(a).
(b). Chairman of the Prisons Service Council under Article 206(a).
(c). Chairman of the Armed Forces Council under Article 211(a).
(d). Member of the National Security Council under Article 83.
Sadly, the aforementioned specific functions that the Constitution assigned to the Vice-President under Articles 201, 206 and 211 have been amended by the repeal of paragraph(a) and the insertion of the following paragraphs:
1. Article 201(a) now states that, “a Chairman who shall be appointed by the President acting in consultation with the Council of State”.
Article 206(a) now states that, “a Chairman who shall be appointed by the President acting in consultation with the Council of State”.
Article 211(a) now states that, ” a Chairman who shall be the President or his nominee”.
Now let me conclude this write up with the Economic and Financial Authority of the President of the Republic of Ghana under the 1992 Constitution:
1.The President under Article 67 is the only person mandated to deliver to Parliament a message on the State of the Nation.
The President under Article 86(2) appoint the Chairman and members of the National Development Planning Commission. According to Article 87(1), the National Development Planning Commission shall advise the President on development planning policy and strategy.
The President under Article 179(1) shall cause to be prepared and laid before Parliament at least one month before the end of the financial year, estimates of the revenues and expenditure of the Government of Ghana for the following financial year.
This means that, the President is has the Final Authority over the Fiscal Policy of Ghana.
Under Article 180, where it appears to the President that the Appropriation Act in respect of any financial year will not come into operation by the beginning of that financial year, the President with the prior approval of Parliament by a resolution, authorise the withdrawal of moneys from the Consolidated Fund for the purpose of meeting expenditure necessary to carry on the services of the Government.
The President under Article 183(4a) appoint the Governor of the Bank of Ghana(Central Bank).
This means that the President has the Final Authority over the Monetary Policy of Ghana.
The President under Articles 185(3) and 186(1) respectively appoint the Government Statistician and members of the Statistical Service Board.
This means that the President has the Final Authority over the Statistical Data of Ghana including Inflation Rates.
The President under Article 189(1a) appoint the Chairman and four other members of the Audit Service Board.
This means that the President has the Final Authority over the Protection of the Public Purse of Ghana.
However, let’s me state that, the supposed Economic Management Team has NO Recognition under the 1992 Constitution of Republic of Ghana. As such, the Economic Management Team has no Authority to dictate or influence the decisions of the President.
This year Presidential election is a contest between John Mahama(Who was a Driver’s Mate for 3years 6months, promoted to Spare Driver for 6months after the death of his Boss, and later became the Main Driver for 4 years), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia(who has been Driver’s Mate for 8years hoping to become the Main Driver) and other Presidential Aspirants who have never been a Driver’s Mate or Spare Driver or Main Driver before.

The attempt religiously being made by former president John Mahama to return to the Jubilee House as President of Ghana has generated considerable debate across the political divide. However, it is my fair and firm opinion that Ghanaians must reject his ceaseless attempt to rule the nation for the second time.
During his previous tenure, Mahama demonstrated unpardonable systemic failures and shortcomings which far outweigh any known success of his government.
I will discuss the failures of his first term in eight comprehensive paragraphs, highlighting why Ghanaians should be critical about his second coming and vehemently reject his bid.
Corruption and Mismanagement:
One of the significant reasons to reject Mahama is his inability to effectively address corruption and mismanagement during tenure. Numerous scandals such as the infamous “bus branding” controversy and unchecked government spending clearly undermine trust in his leadership capabilities. With these failures as precedence, it is imprudent and too risky to expect Mahama to suddenly rectify these bad record and prioritize good governance in his second term.
Sir John
Economic Downturn:
Ghana’s economic landscape experienced severe turbulence during the Mahama administration. Hyper inflation, declined national currency, and increased public debt burden took a heavy toll on the country’s economic stability. This past economic record do not bode well for his second term, as they demonstrate his inability to strategically manage and bolster economic growth, leaving Ghanaians vulnerable to further financial instability.
Infrastructure Development:
Despite Mahama’s promises and lofty rhetorics regarding infrastructure development, the reality on the ground tells a different story. Projects such as the Circle Interchange, which became a symbol of escalating costs and poor execution exemplify this failure. The lack of transparency, failure to deliver projects on time, and quality issues all point to Mahama’s incompetence in ensuring sustainable infrastructure development, thereby weakening his case for a second term.
Energy Crisis:
During his first term, Ghana experienced one of her worst energy crises. Frequent power outages significantly disrupted daily life and crippled businesses. Mahama’s inability to address this crisis effectively raises doubts about his capacity to manage complex issues and implement long-lasting solutions. As Ghanaians face the looming threat of future energy challenges, it is crucial to consider whether Mahama, who failed to tackle the previous crisis, is the right leader to navigate this critical sector of our economy
Education and Healthcare:
Another glaring failure of the Mahama administration was its inability to adequately address the nation’s education and healthcare sectors. Persistent teacher strikes and inadequate healthcare facilities leave Ghanaians questioning whether Mahama, who failed to prioritize and improve these fundamental areas during his first term, has the capacity to address them in his second coming.
Youth Unemployment:
Unemployment remains a pressing issue among Ghana’s youth, and it is essential to examine Mahama’s track record. Despite his promises to create jobs, youth unemployment rates continued to rise during his first term. Mahama’s failure to create an enabling environment for economic growth hindered private sector investment and perpetuated the cycle of unemployment. This trend raises serious concerns about his ability to provide the necessary opportunities for Ghana’s youth in his second term.
Lack of Accountability:
Lastly, Mahama’s lack of accountability for the failures and shortcomings of his administration is deeply concerning. Instead of taking responsibility, he often deflects blame and evades owning up to his mistakes. Such a pattern undermines the foundations of good governance and transparency, eroding trust in his leadership and further solidifying the argument against his second coming.
In summary, despite the varying opinions and expectations surrounding John Mahama’s second coming as Ghana’s president, the failures of his previous term clearly highlight why Ghanaians must reject this prospect. The pervasive corruption and mismanagement, economic downturn, infrastructure deficiencies, energy crisis, neglect of education and healthcare sectors, youth unemployment, and lack of accountability collectively demonstrate his incompetence in addressing Ghana’s pressing issues. In order for
the nation to progress and thrive, a leader who can bring about meaningful change and effectively manage these challenges is what the Nation critically requires.

The vision, direction and interest of a Son might differs from that of his father. As rational human beings, we can’t say that, we are proud of all the decisions and legacies of our parents and Bosses.
We see and judge issues differently. Even identical twins do not have the same vision, ambition, interest and particular style of addressing issues.
The vision of Mentee may be different from the vision of the Mentor.
A Political Party always give birth to different governments and each government is certainly different from each other though they are produced by the same Party.
David couldn’t build the Temple for God but his son Solomon built the Temple for God.
Moses couldn’t successfully lead Israelites to the promise land but his Deputy Joshua made it possible
J. J. Rawlings couldn’t achieve a single digit inflation of 8.4% and growth rate of 14% but his Deputy John Evans Atta Mills achieved an unprecedented 8.4% Inflation rate and 14% growth rate in 2012, the best so far since 1992.
John Evans Atta Mills couldn’t do massive Infrastructure projects during his tenure but his Deputy John Mahama when became President contributed significantly to closing the infrastructure gaps of the Country.
John Evans Atta Mills refused to use the Jubilee House(formerly Flagstaff House) but immediately John Mahama took over he moved into the Jubilee House(Flagstaff House). The same Party’s but different Governments decisions.
Busia couldn’t implement Golden Age of Business and Free Maternal Healthcare Delivery but his protégé John Agyekum Kufuor successfully implemented Golden Age of Business and Free Maternal Healthcare Delivery.
John Agyekum Kufuor couldn’t implement Free SHS Policy but his appointee Nana Akufo-Addo has successfully implemented Free SHS Policy.
John Evans Atta Mills believed in Dr kwabena Duffuor as a Finance Minister but John Mahama immediately replaced him with Seth Terkper when he took over as a President. Different decisions but the same Party.
The vision and performance of Rawlings government was completely different from the government of Prof. John Evans Atta-Mills. The vision and performance of John Mahama’s Government was completely different from the government of Atta Mills. However, the National Democratic Congress(NDC) produced the different governments of Rawlings, Mills and Mahama.
The vision and performance of John Agyekum Kufuor’s government is completely different from the government of Nana Akufo-Addo although it is the same New Patriotic Party(NPP) that produced the governments of John Agyekum Kufuor and Nana Akufo-Addo.
John Mahama proved to be different from Atta Mills. Atta Mills proved to be different from Rawlings. Nana Akufo-Addo has proven to be different from John Agyekum Kufuor.
Mills served in Rawlings Government as Vice-President yet did not follow the path and footsteps of his Boss Rawlings. John Mahama served in Rawlings Government as a Minister and in Mills government as Vice-President yet Mahama’s vision for Ghana was completely different from his Bosses, Rawlings and Mills.
John Kufuor served in Busia’s government but Kufuor’s vision and approach to governance was completely different from Busia.
Nana Akufo-Addo served in Kufuor’s government but Nana Akufo-Addo’s vision and approach to governance has been different from his Boss John Agyekum Kufuor.
John Mahama in spite of his mistakes in the past is coming again with new vision.
Then Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia too is right for saying that he has a new vision despite the mistakes of Akufo-Addo’s Government.
The 2024 is a “Battle of New Visions” and New Styles of Leadership.
Let’s listen to all the Visions of the Presidential Candidates and make meaningful decisions comes 7th December, 2024.
