The Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency in the Ashanti Region has witnessed a remarkable display of energy and enthusiasm as the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, stormed the constituency to embark on a door-to-door campaign for His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s flagbearer.

During his tour, Chairman Wontumi, who is usually mobbed by large crowds,
engaged with various segments of society, including Nananom, religious leaders, youth groups, traders and market women.

He visited bustling market centres at Barekese, Asuofia-Asamang and Koforidua, embarked on a door-to-door campaign, and engaged directly with the people in the streets and their homes.

Chairman Wontumi inspected some projects in the constituency, including an Agenda 111 project at Barekese and the John Agyekum Kufuor TVET Centre at Daaban.

Chairman Wontumi’s tour has clearly energised the party’s grassroots for the December 2024 elections. This is a testament to his unwavering dedication and commitment to the party’s target of securing 85% of the votes in the Ashanti Region.
