CHRISTMAS:George Akom organizes Inter Community Soccer Gala and Obrempong Gala

I took this Christmas period to reconnect with my District, Sekyere Afram Plains in the Ashanti region with the district capital at Drobonso.

At two different locations in the district, I made several donations ; Jerseys, trophies, medals, footballs, whistles and other assorted sports equipment to the various Teams that represented in AKOM Inter Community Soccer Gala and Obrempong Gala.

 

 

At Drobonso, I was humbled to make these donations before the elders and the Chief of Drobonso, Nana Dwamena Dankwa Dwubisaw. I could feel the excitement and the joy from the good people in the district.

Many talents are hidden and we need to unearth these talents.

My prayer is to raise one formidable Team for the District to provide the youth opportunity to exhibit their God given talents.

Most of the pitches there were not in good shape, but in the future, we shall get our share of the astro turf pitches.
