The Executive Director of RESCUE M INTERNATIONAL, Pastor James Appiakorang, has called on churches and Christian organizations to prioritize the training and equipping of more missionaries for the end-time harvest.
He noted that unlike the days when Jesus declared that “the harvest is ripe,” current global events indicate that the harvest is now “overripe,” demanding greater urgency and action from the Body of Christ.
Speaking at the online launch of RESCUE M INTERNATIONAL, Pastor Appiakorang expressed deep concern over what he described as an alarming decline in missionary awareness and commitment among Christians.

“My brothers and sisters, it is deeply troubling that many who call themselves Christians know very little about missions or simply do not care,” he said. “Even within their own communities, many are unwilling to share the gospel with unbelievers. What we often see instead is the transfer of believers from one church to another, which is wrongly labeled as soul winning. That is truly sad.”
He emphasized that the time has come for the Church to fully embrace its divine responsibility of rescuing the perishing and caring for the dying—a mandate given by Christ.

“We cannot claim to be Christians and hold on to scriptures that promise prosperity and good health while neglecting the clear command to go into the world and make disciples,” he stressed.
Pastor Appiakorang who is on long term missions in the Middle East further highlighted that millions of people across various continents have still not heard the name of Jesus Christ, let alone had the opportunity to believe in Him as Lord and Savior.
In light of this, he urged churches to re-evaluate their priorities, encouraging them to invest more resources into missions rather than accumulating large financial reserves.
RESCUE M INTERNATIONAL, a missions organization founded in Ghana, West Africa, is driven by what it describes as the LIFEGUARD Mandate. This mandate teaches that every Christian has a responsibility to safeguard lost souls by reconciling them to God through Jesus Christ, and to care for weary hearts by leading them into true soul nourishment found in Him.
The organization also partners with churches and Christian bodies to organize crusades, as well as train and support missionaries, particularly across Africa and Asia.
