Confusion in Ash NDC Women’s Wing Over Kwabena Duffour’s nomination forms

The NDC Women’s Organizer for Ashanti region Gloria Huze has come under tough pressure after picking nomination forms for the former Finance Minister Dr. Kwabena Duffour.

Hon Yaa Boahemaa Agyeman, her deputy plus other vibrant members of the regional Women’s wing have lambasted her over false claims she made yesterday that the amount of money paid for Dr. Duffour’s nomination forms was acquired through the joint contribution of members making up the regional women’s wing.

 

 

Addressing the media on Friday, 24th February 2024 at the NDC regional office, she foiled the statement, branding it a palpable lie.

 

 

She added that the women’s wing didn’t send her.

“We didn’t send her and we didn’t give or make any monitory contribution towards that move”.

She told this medium on the sidelines that if the women’s wing had money, it would have contributed to support all the candidates contesting for the flagbearership position.

“We know Dr. Duffour is a  member of the NDC but we won’t use our money to support one candidate”.
