DLE:Asokwa ‘Mugabe’ Retains his Seat for 5th Term…as his competitor struggles to get 42 votes

Nana Yaw Wiredu,the incumbent Assembly Member for Ahinsan Estate Electoral area within the Asokwa Municipality,has been re-elected for the 5th term in office.
Nana Yaw Wiredu, who doubles as the chief of Nyamekrom with a stool named,Nana Kwame Nnuro Agyapong II,in the Eastern region, pulled 528 votes out of 570 Total valid votes cast as against his competitor, Joseph Kwame Boateng,who managed to obtained only 42 votes.

The Assembly member for Ahinsan Estate Electoral area,who has been described as Asokwa Mugabe and Adumawura,is one of the longest serving Assembly Members in the country.
The highly elated Nana Yaw Wiredu,thanked the Almighty God for giving him another victory.
He was also full of praise to the electorates in the Ahinsan Estate for the confidence reposed in him
He promised to continue to work together with them to help bring the needed development in the area.
