The Leader and Founder of Overcomers Royal Ministry Worldwide at Abrepo-Bronikrom in the Bantama Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Prophet Dr. Eric Osei Frimpong, has advised the President-elect, John Dramani Mahama, not to amend the 1992 Constitution to enable him to serve another term.
He believes that any attempt to do that could plunge the nation into chaos, leading to loss of lives and destruction of properties.

Prophet Dr. Frimpong gave the advice in an interview during the Christmas celebration.
According to him, having served a first four-year term already, Mr Mahama should just concentrate on his second term alone and leave the political scene.
He (John Mahama), after his second term, could offer technical support to young politicians.
Prophet Dr. Frimpong said with the overwhelming majority in Parliament empowering him (Mahama) to take bold decisions of his wish without the interference of the opposition, he should be careful and focus on how to meet the expectations of the people and nothing else.
Besides, he advised the new government strongly against politics of convenience that undermines the principles of democracy.
“Mr. Mahama should resist all actions that could jeopardise democratic growth, emphasising the need to preserve the dignity and respect for him (Mahama), having previously served his people well,” he stressed.
On the Christmas celebration, Prophet Dr. Frimpong said the year 2025 could be good and prosperous only if Ghanaians adopted principles of hard work and honesty in their homes, workplaces, churches, among other places.
He said no government would ever put food on the table of any Ghanaian except “you work hard to get your daily meals.”
Prophet Dr. Frimpong said he is not a prophet of doom; his prophecies are directed by God.
He said things would be tough for the new John Dramani Mahama in the first two years but things would be better later.
He continued, “We should all put our political differences aside and rally behind the new government for the sake of peace and development.”
He finally prophesied that prominent persons would lose their lives in the year 2025; hence, we must pray harder for God’s interventions.
