Don’t Neglect Your Children for Any Reason-Mpasatia Kyidomhene urges Fathers

The Kyidomhene of Mpasatia in the Atwima Mponua District of Ashanti, Nana Yaw Agyei has urged fathers not to shirk their responsibilities but continue to play their fatherly roles for the sake of their wards future.

He said, it is very sad to see some fathers abandoned their wards making them solely reliance on mothers. Nana Yaw Agyei explained to this paper that wayward and criminals that have become common in Ghana are as a result of inability of fathers taken proper care of them.

 

 

He noted that the celebration of Mother’s Day has overshadowed that of Father’s Day. However, he said, there are some things that fathers need to do for their wards directly without passing through Mothers. Notably among them, he said include payment of school fees, chop money among other things.
