Good day folks
It’s been a while l came to you with a message on Politics . I have been following our (NPP) running mate , Dr. Napo campaigning for votes for our party and our flagbearer ,DMB.

We have been to many churches including the Seventh Day Adventist( SDA) Church.

The momentum and the reception have been very good.

I have also read the recent statement from the Seventh Day Adventist ( SDA) Church on the December 7 which falls on saturday, the sabbath day.

l think something should be done now to cajole them to have a change of mind to partake in December 7, elections which falls on saturday .

The SDA has a church strength of over 800,000 members with a youth wing population of 70% of this figure .

No one should be disenfranchised because of his or her faith.

Yes the sabbath day (saturday) holds deep spiritual significance for Adventists, but they know that Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people and not the other way round

. Notwithstanding that Adventist faith or religious beliefs should be respected.

Sabbath day is a day of rest; no traveling, no buying and selling, no work, and it is all about God for the Adventists. I think the leadership of the church has done well to engage the parliament and electoral commission to lobby them to in future change the law on 7th December as voting day to 1st Tuesday of November to enable all sect to vote on election day.

This, all stakeholders including all political parties have agreed to put measures in place to ensure that in 2028 elections, the law is changed to favour all religious group.

The SDA numbers can make a change in 2024 elections.

The country must not leave them out of December 7 elections . Whiles we wait for the future change of the law on December 7, l want to plead with you (SDA leadership) that please encourage your members to go and vote in December 7. Voting in elections is a civic responsibility and a Godly work. Yɔnko dɔ oooo, Biako yɛ. Coka, l care
