There was great joy by the chiefs, elders and people of Sekyere Central in the Ashanti Region, especially by the residents of Amangoase community and it environs, following the inauguration of J. K. Fosuh’s Memorial CHPS compound financed by Fantasy Club of Daddy Lumba.
The ceremony attracted members of the club in Ghana, the family of the music legend, Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, popularly known as Daddy Lumba; traditional leaders led by Nana Oppong Kyekyeku, a representative of the Paramount Chief of the Nsuta Traditional Area, as well as the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Mr. Kingsley Kodua, aka Poozo.
The beautiful facility was named after the Father of Daddy Lumba, J. K. Fosuh, who hailed from the community.
Speaking at the ceremony, the DCE for Sekyere Central, Mr. Kingsley Kodua, heaped praises on members of Fantasy Club of Daddy Lumba for their commitment to improving healthcare delivery.

“I wish on behalf of the Assembly to commend the leadership and members of Fantasy Club for this project,” he said.
He, therefore, called on the district health director to immediately post health personnel to start work at the CHPS commpund.
The DCE also pledged the unflinching support of the District Assembly to ensure the smooth running of the facility.
He called on the community members to protect the centre and patronise the health facility at all times.
He prayed for the blessings of God for Fantasy Club members and Daddy Lumba.
Mrs. Susana Nkrumah, the District Health Director, expressed her profound gratitude to the club for the wonderful edifice which would go a long way to improve primary healthcare.

She assured the club members that personnel would be posted to the facility as soon as possible. However, she stressed the need for all stakeholders to help to equip the facility with all the necessary equipment.
Both Nana Baah Boadi, Amangoase Dikro, and Nana Oppong Kyekyeku, a representative of the Paramount Chief of Nsuta Traditional Area, commended the Fantasy Club of Daddy Lumba for the health centre.
According to them, they would forever be grateful to the club, Daddy Lumba and his family through whom the members decided to establish the health centre.
Ernest Adu Asamoah, aka Blessed Entertainment, the Project Manager of the club, revealed that the project cost over GH¢600,000.
On his part, the President of Fantasy Club of Daddy Lumba, Mr. Joe Antwi-Boasiako, in a statement read on his behalf, said the fan club was set up to propagate and help cement the enviable legacies of Daddy Lumba, a great son of the land.
According to him, Saturday, 7th September 2024, would go down in history as the day a group known as Fantasy Club of Daddy Lumba changed the narrative of fan base or fan army in Ghana.

He explained that Fantasy Club of Daddy Lumba comprised abled men and women, who are ardent lovers of the music and personality of Daddy Lumba, for which reason they came together to form this enviable club on 29th September 2019, with the aim of protecting the image and legacies of Daddy Lumba, while they make societal impact in the name of the legend.

Mr. Boasiako said the club had set out to achieve some feats like health screening, which was done at Amangoase, feeding street children, giving help to some individuals and with their biggest achievement so far being the Amangoase health facility.
He, therefore, thanked Daddy Lumba in whose name and wings they gathered to contribute to construct the facility.
He thanked the Odikro of Amangoase for securing the land for them, the members of the club for their contributions, among other stakeholders, for making their dream come true.
