PRAYER APPEAL FOR THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND OFFICIALS INVOLVED IN THE 12 FEBRUARY ACCIDENT AND CALL FOR IMPROVED INTER- REGIONAL ROADS CONSTRUCTION.

The Ghana National Union of Technical Students (GNUTS) expresses concern and relief over
the road accident involving Minister of Education Honourable Haruna Iddrisu and other
officials, including the Deputy Minister for Communication and Digital Technology.
We honour their continuous dedication to our Dear Country Ghana and commitment to national
duty.
We commend the Ghana Ambulance service for the prompt response to the incident.
The Minister’s . intentions were pure towards the progress of education in the upper west
region, which they intended to attend the 40th Anniversary celebrations of Tumu College of
Education and Jahan College of Education in the Upper West Region when the incident
occurred.
We call on Ghanaian students to extend prayer to the honourable ministers of state and other
officials who were involved in the accident.
We therefore call on the Ministry of Roads and Highways to ensure that all inter regional roads
should be asphalt and properly constructed to avoid future incursions.
Our thought and prayer are with them and their families. We remain hopeful for their swift
return to good health and continue their service to our beloved nation, Ghana.
