JOANA GYAN CUDJOE LIGHTS AMENFI CENTRAL CONSTITUENCY WITH HER CAMPAIGN LAUNCH IN GRAND STYLE

 

 

The parliamentary candidate hopeful of the National Democratic Congress in the Amenfi Central Constituency of the Western Region; Madam Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has officially set her campaign in motion ahead of the May 13 primaries.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd at the campaign launch earlier today at Agona Amenfi Methodist Park in the Amenfi Central constituency, Madam Joana Gyan Cudjoe reiterated her commitment and determination to chartering a new path for the constituency through her thirteen point agenda when given the nod on May 13.

She minced no words in indicating that with the support of the JOANA GYAN FOUNDATION, her leadership will:

  1. Support the provision of potable water in communities with critical needs.

  2. Connect the remaining communities without Electricity to the National Grid

  3. Lobby the service Providers such as MTN and Vodafone to improve on their connectivities in the constituency.

  4. Lobby/see to the improvement of the deplorable roads in the Constituency

  5. See to the improvement of educational infrastructure in the Constituency

  6. Construct modern toilet facilities with bathrooms in some communities

 

  1. Establish a Constituency Welfare scheme for the benefit of branch, ward and Constituency executives.

  2. Develope Human Resource through scholarships and skills development in the Constituency

  3. Support farmers in the Constituency

  4. Support business women with soft loans.

  5. Lobby for the Construction of Health facilities (CHIPS compound) at critical areas within the constituency

  6. Lobby for the Construction of Astroturf for sports development.

  1. Lobby for the construction of a Computer Lab through the Joana Gyan Cudjoe Foundation.

She charged her numerous supporters present to refrain from the temptation of engaging in the politics of insults and rather focus on selling her visions to the delegates to secure a resounding victory for herself and President Mahama.

In attendance were the Chief and elders of the town in addition to other party dignitaries such as the Western Regional Women Organizer Madam Gladys Egyin, the National Women Organizer Dr. Hanna Louisa Bissiw and some other women organizers from various constituencies across board.

Taking her turn, Dr. Hanna Louisa Bissiw urged the delegates to rally behind Madam Joana Gyan to secure her victory in the impending primaries and the subsequent general election in order to increase women participation in parliament.
