KOJO BOFOUR GYAASEHENE PRAISES GHANAIAN YOUTH FOR PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE
The Gyaasehene of Kojo Bofour near Yeji in the Pru East District of the Bono East Region, Nana Kwabena Tawia Potopuo IV, has praised the people of the area for their commitment, hard work and dedication that have brought peace and development.
He said it is only through these that Kojo Bofour can see more progress and prosperity. In an exclusive interview after the celebration of 2022 Kojo Bofour Yam Festival, he said the area is enduring peace because of the collaboration between the chiefs and the people
. He explained that, the celebration of 2022 Kojo Bofour Yam Festival was exceptional as a lot of social activities were designed aimed at bringing people together.
These activities he said include football, keep fit, draft and others.
According to him, Kojo Bofour has three basic schools in which every year the chiefs visit them and make contributions aimed at enhancing teaching and learning. Nana Potopuo said, Kojo Bofour has earmarked vast land for the construction of Vocational School and that the government should see it as a priority to assist them to construct it.
He explained that, when the vocational school is completed, it would go a long way to assist the youth to be self-employed.
