The Assembly Member for the Kumawu-Dadease Electoral Area in the Sekyere Kumawu District of the Ashanti Region, Hon. Kofi Adade, who doubles as a senior reporter with Oyerepa 100.7 FM/TV in Kumasi, has showcased his support for his community for the past 20 years.

The journalist cum assembly member shared some of his achievements to The New Trust Newspaper in an interview.
According to him,his first term as Assembly Member has witnessed unprecedented achievements as compared to all those who have had opportunity to serve as their representatives at the Assembly.
“I have achieved a lot for my Community by providing five(5) mechanized boreholes for Kumawu Dadease among other interventions’.
Hon Kofi Adade, said through the District Chief Executive ( DCE) for the area,Hon.Samuel Addai Agyakum, they have converted one borehole to a mechanized potable water with the help of Lawyer Edward Osei Kofi.
He lamented that since 1985 until 2019,he became Assembly Member to lobby for the provision of the mechanized boreholes, the community members were using hand dug boreholes (manpower) .
He, therefore, appealed to the electorates to vote for him in the upcoming assembly elections to help him to continue his good work for the electoral area.
It would be recalled that,Hon.Kofi Adade who is highly tipped to be elected for the second term shared his achievements on various social media platforms.
The post reads:
“I, Hon. Kofi Adade, the assembly member for the Dadease Electoral Area has supported my people in many ways of development, especially in the areas of health and education.
In the year 2012, the people of Kumawu Dadease were suffering from Hepatitis B which was killing them and I spoke to some doctors who came and assisted them with screening and medication.
Currently, the Kumawu-Dadease Electoral Area is free from the Killer disease – Hepatitis B.
In 2014, I provided 17 computers to Dadease Agric Senior High School and 20 laptops to Dadease basic schools to improve technological education in the community.
I also support the pupils with learning materials which include mathematical sets, pens, pencils, chop boxes, exercise books and many other materials to assist parents in caring for their children as part of improving education in the area.
I also lobbied and supported the community in getting electricity meters to prevent overloading of meters.
This is just to mention but a few. I wish to encourage everyone to help his or community in every aspect of his strength.
