KWAPRAHENE PRAISES PRIVATE INVESTORS’ SUPPORT TO DEVELOPMENT

The chief of Kwapra in the Suame Municipality of Ashanti, Baafuor Adu Gyamfi Kumanin, has applauded private persons who are initiating some projects to augment government’s efforts of improving the nation.

He said clearly everything shows that the government is indeed lacks enough funds to embark on projects therefore all hands must come together irrespective of one’s political, tribal and regional differences to develop Ghana together.

Kwaprahene was speaking to this paper as a way of recognizing one Mr. Solomon Gozey who has Solely embark on tarring of a section of Kwapra inner road.

According to Kwaprahene, Mr. Gozey has done enough and needs commendation from every individual.

He explained that some months ago, Mr. Gozey approached him and announced his intentions of tarring the area in question. He said he also informed the Suame Municipal Assembly who also gave the green light for him to carry on the project.

“Who am I to reject this juicy offer? Poor roads network within Kwapra township is my major headache, therefore if someone is coming to tar a portion for us, I and my sub-chiefs have to support him totally “,he added.

Kwaprahene believes that Ghana could have gone far in terms of development if every individual had contributed his or her quota meaningfully without waiting for the help from the central government.

Baafuor Adu Gyamfi also praised one Mr. Samuel Takyi popularly known as SAMTAK for also doing a similar project some years ago.

Kwaprahene used the encounter to remind the government that the GNPC hospital at Kwapra has become a white elephant therefore they should come and complete it to provide quality health care to the people.
