The Ashanti Regional Organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who doubles as the Dean of all Regional Organisers, Dr. Francis Adomako, has called on the rank and file of the NPP to respect the directive by the national leadership.

According to him, the party, not too long ago, issued a directive for all prospective aspirants to hold on to all sorts of campaigns until the ban is lifted.

Dr.Francis Adomako aka Francois

He explained that this directive binds all officers from the polling station to potential flagbearers.

Speaking to this paper on Monday, 9th June 2025, the Ashanti Regional Organiser, popularly known as Francois, said, “It appears this directive has not been adhered to, making the work of the national leadership very difficult.”

“This directive, when adhered to by all, can go a long way to help in the reorganisation of the party. We all have a role to play in this process,” he added.

Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua, NPP General Secretary

He, therefore, called on all potential aspirants from the polling station to the highest leve to, with immediate effect, adhere to the directive.

Moreover, officers from polling station to the national level who the various potential aspirants decide to meet should be bold enough to inform the so-called aspirants of the directive by the leadership of the party; hence, so many meetings can’t come on.

He believes that if all supporters could help in this regard, it would go a long way to help the party ahead of the 2028 general election.

Meanwhile, this paper has gathered that one of the national women’s organiser hopefuls is expected to meet all constituency women’s organisers in the Ashanti Region hopefully on Thursday.
