With barely three months to the December 7 general election, Madam Elizabeth Akosua Nyarko, the mother of Dr. Bawumia’s running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, aka Napo, has joined the campaign trail of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional capital.

Madam Akosua Nyarko on Thursday,12th September 2024, was caught on cameras embarking on an unannounced campaign at the Kumasi Central Market, Roman Hills, Alabar, among other areas.

The mother of Napo was led by Mr. Akwasi Nti, the former NPP Constituency Chairman for Fomena, and some women organisers.

She was seen shaking hands and interacting with traders and residents in the various areas, emphasising the need for them to vote massively for the Bawumia-Napo ticket to continue the good foundation laid by the Akufo-Addo administration.

The traders and residents could not hide their excitement upon seeing Madam Akosua Nyarko. They, therefore, decided to join her team with the promise that they would vote massively for Dr. Bawumia.

She believes that the Bawumia-Napo ticket is the surest bet to ensure accelerated development for the country.
