National Airline key to tourism growth in Ghana – Dr.Adutwum declares ahead of NPP presidential primary

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, has pledged to transform Ghana’s tourism sector as a key driver of economic growth.

Speaking after concluding his nationwide campaign activities ahead of the party’s presidential primary, Dr Adutwum emphasised that a revitalised tourism industry requires the establishment of a national airline.

He explained that such an initiative would not only create jobs for citizens but also add significant value to Ghana’s aviation sector.

In addition to tourism, Dr Adutwum proposed the creation of gold streets at major locations across the country to optimise the nation’s gold trade and ensure that more revenue generated remains within Ghana.“Is tourism going to be attractive in Ghana? Let us look at the ticket that we pay to develop it. The tax on it must be relooked at.
