NDC DECIDES: ‘Ghana needs experience not experiment’ –former President Mahama declares
Former President John Dramani Mahama believes he is the best person to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) into the next general election.

According to Mr Mahama, the current state of the country is at its most dire level.
For that matter, the party cannot risk presenting a candidate without the wherewithal to confront the challenges head-on, per his assessment.
“Ghana at this time does not need a ‘try-me-too-leader,” he said on Thursday, March 2.
“[Ghana needs] a leader who accepts responsibility and works to fix the problem and not one who shifts blame to others.”
He made these comments during the launch of his flagbearership campaign themed ‘Building Ghana We Want Together’.
Addressing party faithful in Ho, John Mahama explained that the trust in the government has been eroded due to the economic downturn among other inefficiencies and a general performance Mr Mahama describes as abysmal.
“Our present state and its effect on our people trouble me a lot,” he said in Ho.
The former President says he has over the period monitored the country’s problems and “of course, I know how to deliver that badly needed change,” he added.
The flagbearer insisted that “we will not run a government of slogans instead we will run a government of action.”
Mr Mahama joins former Finance Minister, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, former Mayor of Kumasi, Kojo Bonsu and businessman, Ernest Kwaku Krobea as personalities who are in the running towards wielding the NDC’s flag into the 2024 election.Source: Kenneth Awotwe Darko
