The delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have overwhelmingly retained the incumbent regional chairman,Mr Augustus NANA Kwasi for another four(4) years term.

Nana Kwasi defeated his former boss, Chairman Yaw Obimpeh who staged a come back,Lawyer Evans Amankwah,three times NDC parliamentary candidate for Adansi Asokwa among others to retain his seat
