The former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member for Manhyia North constituency within the Kumasi Metropolis,Hon.Collins Owusu Amankwah aka Chief, has stated emphatically that NPP can’t afford to lose 2024 general elections to the main opposition Party, NDC to come and destroy all the good policies and massive developmental projects implemented despite the challenges of both Covid-19 and Russian/Ukraine war.

According to the former MP who doubles as the Ashanti Regional Campaign Coordinator for Hon.Alan Kyerematen’s bid to become NPP Flagbearer , NPP has always demonstrated that “we’re for the people in terms of our policies and programs from former President J.K.Kufour’s administration to that of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government.

”I wish to urge you that no matter who your supporting for the internal elections, let’s not break ourselves before breaking the 8 in 2024.We(NPP) can’t afford to lose 2024 polls, so we must all rally support behind the candidate who will win the Party’s Presidential primaries.”
Hon.Collins Owusu Amankwah who is also a member of the Party’s Communications team made the appeal on Sunday,28th May,2023 at the Christ Apostolic University College TESCON Branch meeting and Freshers’ orientation in Kumasi.
The Charismatic former Legislature for Manhyia North and a former Manhyia Youth Organizer challenged the rank and file of NPP to work hard to help them consolidate power come 2024 polls.
According to him; NDC was no match in terms of prudent management of the economy, implementation of social interventions policies, job creation as well as infrastructure development.
Hon.Owusu Amankwah said “NDC is only day dreaming for winning back power in 2024 Polls.Let me advised them(NDC) that Ghanaians still stand by NPP”.
