NPP DECIDES:Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah beats A.C.Ntim to win Offinso North

The New Patriotic Party(NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Offinso North,Hon Augustine Collins Ntim,has lost the party’s parliamentary primary to the Director General (DG) of the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET),,Dr.Fred Kyei Asamoah.
The Electoral Commission’s certified results gave Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah,378 votes ,Mr.Rockson Kwaku – 1 vote and the incumbent MP,who doubles as deputy Local Government Minister and a former District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area during former President John Agyekum Kufour’s administration,Hon.Augustine Collins Ntim ,231 votes respectively.
The peaceful election held at the district and constituency capital, Akomanda was conducted by the Electoral Commission (EC) and supervised by the national and regional representatives of the party.
Dr.Asamoah thanked the delegates for the confidence reposed in him. He promised to work hand in hand with all stakeholders to maximise votes for the NPP in the 2024 elections.
Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah holds a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Denver, Colorado, USA, a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Pembroke, USA.
