Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, a contender in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary slated for Saturday, 31st January, 2026, has declared a clear conviction of emerging as a winner in the race after completion of his engagement with the delegates of the party across the country.
He has therefore urged the delegates of the party. to go out & vote for him on No. 4 for party unity, victory and Ghana’s transformation.”I wish to urge all NPP delegates to vote for me.


And if you’re Ghanaian but not a delegate for the sake of Ghana’s transformation, since you go to church and mosque with them (delegates), tell them that as a Ghanaian, you want Dr Adutwum as your president, so they (NPP delegates) should go out and vote number 4 for Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum.”This will ensure the NPP party’s unity and victory come 2028 and the economic development of Ghana,” he explained.I am the unifier, who can bring the needed unity among the aspirants and party members.

I’m the unifier, and I will bring unity in the party. All of you can attest to the fact that during the campaign period, I didn’t run a campaign of insults and stand in a better position to unite all aspirants and their supporters.
.”I’m available to serve the party to make the party attractive to ensure the delegates work hard, whether we’re in the power or not. I am here to serve Ghanaians so as to help transform Ghana.

Dr Adutwum, who is also the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosomtwe Constituency in the Ashanti Region, said NPP needs a candidate, who can unite them,maximise votes to ensure a resounding victory in 2028 and he stands tall amongst the five aspirants.

“Dear delegates, Your presidential candidate should have attributes of someone who really knows what it takes to transform the nation.
Other countries have done it and we can’t be left behind.There’s a sense of urgency to compete with other nations.”I have the track record of delivery, and my expertise in both finance, management and records at the Education Ministry is available for all to verify.”
Speaking to journalists in the Ashanti region on Thursday, 29th January 2026, at Golden Bean Hotel to round off his campaign of ‘Ghana’s transformation and hope for all” the former Education Minister, who is also the MP for Bosomtwe Constituency, said when given the nod as the NPP Flagbearer and subsequently becoming President of Ghana, he intends to use education, especially STEM, where 100 engineers from each constituency and 50 doctors will be trained every year.
The NPP Flagbearer hopeful said hope was on its way For students and unemployed youth in the country.
He said Ghana’s former heads of state have played their part, but currently the country needs a 21st-century president with strong attributes to compete with the developed countries.Dr Adutwum, who doubles as a former education minister, said his vision for building Ghana through STEM education, job creation, skills development, liveable wages for workers, NPP party unity, specific insurance schemes for NPP members, among other innovative policies, has been well received by the delegates of the party.
Dr Adutwum also took time to expatiate his key vision towards Ghana’s transformation agenda – industrialisation, free university education, the creation of 1 million IT jobs, 100 engineers per constituency every year, equal distribution of infrastructure, the fight against poverty, and an increase in life span etc.
According to Dr Adutwum, who is number 4 on the Saturday primary, Ghana’s long struggle with poverty cannot be eliminated by the same old strategies but needs a 21st -century president with exceptional innovative ideas.
