NPP to Reject Ballots Publicly Displayed During Super Delegates Conference-Presidential Elections C’ttee

“It is essential to note that publicly displaying cast ballots constitutes a criminal offense. We hereby serve notice that those who violate this provision shall be subjected to legal repercussions in accordance with the Law. Delegates are hereby informed that any cast ballots publicly displayed will be rejected”.
The above warning is part of the Twelve (12) protocol measures for the Special Electoral College elections slated for Saturday,26th August,2023 across the 16 regional capitals in the country.
The Presidential Elections Committee per number 5 and 6 of the protocols also banned all activities involving the delegates of the Party before and during the polls.
The statement said “Moreover, all Regional Executives Committees are kindly requested to suspend any previously planned programs, including but not limited to workshops, training, extended meetings, retreats, residential retreats, or any events involving delegates camping, for the duration of this week until the conclusion of the Electoral College Election.
In adherence to legal protocols, delegates are strongly advised to conform to all electoral laws, regulations, and rules on Saturday,August 26,2023”.
