NSA boss praises Goasohene for releasing parcels of land for construction of sports facilities

The 2023 Regional Tour of the Director General of National Sports Authority (NSA), Prof Peter Twumasi, yesterday made a stop at Goaso, the capital of the newly created Ahafo Region where the NSA Regional Office is located.

 

 

The team first visited the office of the directorate to interact with staff and the Regional Director, and to review activities of last year as well as projections for this year 2023.

 

 

Together with the sports leadership in the Region, the DG paid visit to the Regional Minister, Hon Hon George Boakye, Goasomanhene, Nana Akwasi Bosompra I in his elegant Palace, and also inspected some acquired land sites for construction into sports facilities in the Region.

The DG thanked Nana Akwasi Bosompra I for releasing parcels of land to NSA to be developed into sports facilities.

The Paramount Chief was presented with a replica Black Stars jersey in appreciation of his support for sports development in the area.
