A Tamale-based Journalist with Nessim Fm on Tuesday night killed in a robbery attack at Kalariga, one of the suburbs within the Tamale Metropolis.

A colleague at the radio station who confirmed the incident to MyNewsGh.com, indicate that the deceased Journalist Alhassan Suale who operates a mobile money shop was shot and killed by the criminals after which they fled.

A Fulani man who was riding a motorbike past the scene of the crime was mistaken for one of the suspects and lynched and the bike burnt

A statement from the Northern Regional Police Command about the incident reads” An armed robbery incident in Tamale a while ago has resulted in the death of one alleged robbery suspect and two victims. Two others including one of the alleged robbery suspects and one other victim sustained gunshot wounds and are receiving medical attention.
