According to him, the need for the party to unite and bring everyone on board to ensure a resounding victory in the 2028 general election cannot be overemphasised.

“I’m, therefore, calling on all the rank and file of NPP to stay united as one big family before, during and after our presidential primary.” COKA, who doubles as the Ashanti Regional chairman hopeful, made the passionate appeal at Abusua 96.5 FM, a locally based radio station in Kumasi, on Friday, 9th January, 2026, hosted by Ebenezer Yaw Jonah, aka Osempakani.

He reminded all the aspirants and their followers that, after the election, “we (NPP) are the same people who will be responsible for leading the campaign to ensure whoever is elected by the delegates recaptures from NDC in 2028.

It would therefore be inappropriate for any party member or sympathiser to openly or secretly embark on campaign activities that could create division.

Let’s remember that united we stand, divided we fall.

“He, therefore, urged party supporters and delegates to avoid campaign activities that could create divisions within the party, stressing the importance of unity as the NPP prepares for future elections.
