The newly elected governing New Patriotic Party (NPP’) Parliamentary candidate for Juaben Constituency in the Ashanti region,Mr Francis Owusu-Akyaw,has expressed his appreciation to the delegates of the Party for the confidence reposed in him as Parliamentary candidate for this year’s general election
Mr.Owusu-Akyaw,who is also a Minerals Consultant thanked the delegates and pledged to unite the party to appreciate more vo
tes for the party’s flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
It would be recalled that Francis Owusu-Akyaw, beats Ama Pomaa to win Juaben NPP Primary in last Saturday’s Parliamentary primaries.
He polled 334 of the total votes, defeating sitting MP and Deputy Communications Minister Ama Pomaa Boateng who secured 120 votes.
The election which was supervised by the Electoral Commission was held at the Methodist School park on Saturday,27th January,2024.
