FOLLOW THE RIGHT STEPS OF REV.FRIMPONG MANSO-Rev.John Nkrumah to new Gen.Supt of Assemblies of God church

The former Ashanti Regional treasurer of the Assemblies of God Church, Rev. Dr. Richard John Nkrumah has made more revelations about the immediate past General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Rev. Paul Frimpong Manso which has led to the Church growing from strength to strength.

 

According to him, Rev. Frimpong Manso has done what he could to assist the church from Ashanti and throughout his era as General Superintendent. Rev. Nkrumah explained to this paper that Rev. Frimpong Manso during his tenure as the Ashanti Regional Superintendent assisted in various ways to help the Church gets funds to build more churches in the region. He said with Rev.Frimpong Manso’s good relationship with the banks, he also helped some pastors in the region to get loans to build their own houses.

According to rev. Nkrumah, it was during Rev. Frimpong Manso’s era as Ashanti Regional Superintendent that the evangelism and mission works spread throughout the districts in the region

.  The former Ayigya head pastor of the Bethel Assemblies of God said, when Rev. Frimpong Manso was elected as General Superintendent in 2010, he sets a target that he will make sure that Assemblies of God gets magnificent headquarters as well as making sure that the church opens at least three thousand (3000 ) new branches before he retires. He said this vision with the grace of God has come to pass. According Rev. Nkrumah, Rev. Frimpong Manso cordial relationship with others is very exceptional as he assisted most of the pastors to further their education.

“He is the type who would always be on your neck to ensure that right things are done”. Rev. Nkrumah advised the newly elected General Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Yenusom Wengan to follow the right steps of his predecessor and also work as a unified body to win more souls for Christ.    He said though his predecessor did what he could regarding the welfare of retired and serving ministers but he should also make sure that more benefits are added.Story by Kofi Owusu
