ACCOUNTABILITY IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR EVERY INSTITUTION AND COMMUNITY – HON. KOFI ADADE.

 

Assembly member for Kumawu Dadease electoral area in the Sekyere Kumawu district of Ashanti region, Hon. Kofi Adade, has stated that, accountability is very important for transformation of every community and institution.

 

 

Speaking at the end of year meeting at Kumawu Dadease, he urged leaders of various institutions and communities to endeavor to always be transparent or make things clear to their people for them to give their best to help ensure the needed development.

 

 

Hon.Kofi Adade who doubles as a senior Journalist with Oyerepa TV and Radio in Kumasi,used the occasion to account his stewardship to the electorates of the area.

After the account,he supported suggestions that, celebration of one week rites in the area would be held twice in a month and funeral takes place once a month, which is every first Saturday of the month.

Kumawu-Dadease Assembly member also appealed to traditional leadership of the community as well as the members not to allow anyone to deceive them with money to move their votes from their communities to other communities as assembly’s elections is getting close.

 

He used the opportunity to announce his intention to seek re-election and urged the electorates to consider him again as their assembly member when the time comes.
