Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining my colleagues on the Parliamentary Select Committee on Local Government for a series of public accountability sessions with the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) alongside various MMDAs across our region.
During the session, Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene presented key reports on vital regional projects, including ongoing facility expansion and inner-road networks at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, as well as critical water infrastructure development.

We also gave full attention to grassroots priorities presented by district leaders. Notable among these were urgent appeals from the Adansi South District Assembly regarding degraded, untarred roads and the environmental strain caused by illegal mining activities in Manso Nkwanta.
Active oversight is essential to making sure public resources genuinely uplift our towns and villages. I remain fully committed to supporting sustainable development, environmental protection, and improved infrastructure for both the Ashanti Region and the people of Ahafo Ano South West.
