NPP REORGANISATION

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to undergo a comprehensive reorganisation process aimed at strengthening its internal structures and positioning itself for success in the upcoming general elections. This restructuring is expected to help the party address internal conflicts and emerge stronger, ultimately increasing its chances of winning power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

REORGANISATION TIMELINE

  1. Membership Drive

– Dates: 1st March – 31st March 2026
– Objective: To recruit and register new members, and update existing members’ records.
2. Verification
– Dates: 1st April – 14th April 2026
– Objective: To verify and validate members’ information.

– Dates: 10th – 16th May 2026
– Objective: To elect polling station executives.

  1. Electoral Area Elections

– Dates: 10th – 15th June 2026
– Objective: To elect electoral area executives.

  1. Constituency Elections

– Dates: 11th – 12th July 2026
– Objective: To elect constituency executives.

  1. Regional Elections

– Dates: 8th – 9th August 2026
– Objective: To elect regional executives.
7. External Branches/Chapters Elections
– Dates: 20th June – 19th July 2026 (Branches)
– Dates: 15th July – 9th August 2026 (Chapters)
– Objective: To elect executives for external branches and chapters.

– Objective: To elect national executives.
