The event is expected to attract significant attention from political analysts, civil society groups, and the general public, as it could reshape the dynamics of Ghana’s political discourse ahead of the 2028 general elections.
When formally transitioned into a political party, Ghanaians will be hoping to see it become a third force in Ghana’s political space and offer competition to the traditional political duopoly enjoyed by the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).Mr. Kyerematen, in a suspense post on his official Facebook wall, wrote, “Anticipate !!! Ghana First. The Movement for Change was launched in 2023 by Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen following his resignation from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after his failed presidential bid with the then-ruling party.Since then, the movement has positioned itself as a platform for national renewal, advocating for inclusive leadership, unity, and sustainable economic transformation.
